Chapter 3 (part 1)

Andi's POV

-next day/school-

I open my locker and pull out my math textbook. Papers slide out and fall everywhere but I don't care.

"Andrea fucking Cruz," Emma pokes me.

"Wha?"

"Are you okay? You seem distracted."

"I'm fine," I say as I recover my papers from the ground.

Actually, I can't stop thinking about Jax. Like, I know he won't, but if he asks me out and I say yes that's breaking girl code. But didn't Daniel break guy code by dating Emma? Is guy code even a thing?

"Hey," Jax says from behind me. He leans against the locker.

"I don't want to talk to you," Emma says rudely.

"I was talking to Andi, not you," he rolls his eyes. "I don't know if you know this or not but not everything is about you."

Emma storms away.

"What's up?" I shut my locker.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come over after school to hang out or whatever.." Jax smiles.

"uh.. yeah, sure. sounds good. I'll see you later," I smiled back at him and walked away. Why am I so fucking awkward?! 😭😂

He winks at me and walks away (*dies 😂*). Or maybe I'm just imagining that shit...

The whole day in school I'm distracted, mostly by Jax. What if I do embarrassing shit when I come over? What if shit escalates too quickly? Or naw... 😂

The day goes by fast & soon school ends. I walk home to get ready 😏.

Jax's POV

"Oh my fucking god Diego," I laugh as his avatar in Zombie Apocalypse 3 explodes.

"Damn it," he laughs. Diego is like my best friand now 🙆😂.

There's a knock at the front door. Andi's here 😏.

"Don't just sit there, get it dumbass," he smirks and rolls his eyes.

"Aye, shut up," I get off the couch & open the door. "Hey b- Andi, come in."

She steps inside looks around awkwardly. "Nice place, kid."

"Thanks now COME ONNNN LET'S PLAY!!" I grab Andi by the legs and pull her over my shoulders.

"PUT ME DOWN BETCH!!" she screams but I run into the living room and throw her onto the couch. Diego is laughing and Andi's all blushing and out of breath. She flips her hair out of her face and grabs the third control.

"Don't die like fucking Diego. he dies every five seconds." I laugh. Diego rolls his eyes. Disrespectful 😴👋.

"Try playing with Daniel. He's way worse," he says, getting all defensive.

I look over at him. "Why the fuck would I want to play Zombie Apocalypse with Daniel?"

"Neveminddddddd..."

"I want food," Andi says, not taking her eyes off the screen.

"Be right back," I get up and go to the kitchen.

"I'll go too.." diego follows me into the kitchen.

"Yes?" I make sandwiches waiting for him to elaborate.

"You like her, don't you?"

"I- uh..."
