Hello hello! My dear readers, I came up with a new writing idea. My idea is what if tanjiro and nezuko both became demons?

I got the idea of tanjiro being a demon slayer as well as a demon from the story

' "betrayed" ' by, crystal_oz. Their story description and storyline didn't really match. So I took the concept of a demon tanjiro demon slayer, nothing else

I would also like to say that the characters used in this story do not belong to me, they belong to Koyoharu Gotouge.

This story will contain manga spoilers, after the mugen train arc.

But, not at the same time, here's the basic storyline;

What if in his encounter with Muzan he turned into a demon? Fortunately he kept his memories unlike the other victims of Muzan. His hatred for him had only grew, similar to Nezuko he doesn't get stamina from humans he gets it from sunlight (a reference to the 'hinokami kagura' or aka the 13 forms of sun breathing) he didn't know that yet though. He learns he can conquer the sun after the mission where he was fighting the demon Koyogai (drum demon). Right after the encounter with Muzan he went and bought a single plain white fox mask, and red paint. Then he painted it similar to how master urokodaki had made it. He bought Nezuko something similar to his outfit so she can walk with him during the day, when she gets tired she climbs into her box to sleep.

He was captured by the pillars (hashira) when he was fighting rui. "The demon Nezuko who where's a pink kimono, and the demon Tanjiro who where's a black and green checkered haori are to be captured and brought to the temple(? I don't remember what it's called)" of course Giyu still protected Nezuko and Tanjirou.

I hope you'll like it. Also here are some of my demonslayer head cannons, you don't have to like or agree with them, I just thought I'd share!

Tanjiro:

•he/They

•bisexual with a preference for a more masculine person

•He tries to protect Nezuko at all costs because he feels it his fault that his family died because he wasn't there to protect them

•He often has nightmares of the morning he found his family dead, he wakes up in a cold sweat sometimes letting out a slight weep. To which he then snuggles up to whoever is closest to him. Which is Usually inosuke or nezuko.

•Please note that I know in the movie he tells Enmu to not put words in his family's mouths, but these nightmares happened before and after that incident. Then he knew it was enmu creating the dream

"She's never devoured anyone, and never will"

Inosuke:

•They/them/it/he/pig

•he's a raging bisexual and doesn't know what to do, he loves both Aoi and tanjiro bethel give him the most kindness. He doesn't really care for looks but how they treat him

•He honors Kanao for helping kill douma who had also killed his mother

•he is unaware he basically had a demon Step-daddy, that he killed

•when tanjiro first snuggled up to him when he had one of his nightmares had just kind of stiffened up like a board, until he and tanjiro both fell asleep, to which he subconsciously wrapped an arm around him

•pig loves to comfort tanjiro when he has his nightmares, pig will often cradle tanjiro saying "it okay, it wasn't your fault. You saved nezuko remember? She loves you, your family loves you. We love you, it's alright" he often repeats it multiple time because he isn't all that great with words, he better with actions. As he cradled tanjiro he often rubs his back and plants small kisses on his forehead to soothe him.

Zenitsu:

•he/him

•bisexual with a preference for women

•He has had multiple nightmares of when his sensai "gramps" committed the ritual suicide for when their successors become demons. When he beheaded his senpai he no longer felt  that anger and frustration he had deep inside.

•he's happy that he didn't die in final selection because if he did he wouldn't have met his "wife" nezuko

"Nezuko chaaaannn"

Nezuko:

•she/her

•a straight ally

•in her demon state she was basically a puppy, when she was turned back into a human some of her memories flooded in her brain causing her to have a mini breakdown. Later when her, Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu returned back to her family's house. All of her memories had resurfaced causing her to have yet another breakdown

•She personally invites sanemi over and spends time with him, Tanjiro, inosuke, and zenitsu because she feels bad that he has no one else. She always makes sure he feels at home, she also thinks of sanemi as an older brother.

•one time she accidentally called sanemi "onii chan" sanemi smiled in return and hugged her while slightly crying because sanemi often thinks of her as Genya.

•she loves to sleep

Genya:

•He/they/bird

•pansexual

•When he eats parts of demons to gain their demon attributes, he even becomes a little more demonic in action.

•one time after killing a demon after eating a small part of it, and ate a single chunk of the human the demon had killed, on behalf of the demonic urge he had. After that he hadn't eaten a single piece of a demon for 2 months.

•bird gets embarrassed really easily, especially around women. Bird also gains crushes really easily. Bird has a crush on both nezuko and tanjiro.

•on the brink of death and never failed to smile, so he could let sanemi know that it was okay that he was leaving the world. He wanted to sanemi to live a life without regret of never showing his affection towards genya
