Danger.

„She did what?!" Wrem screeched in disbelief.

„This does sound irrational. Are you certain you have not just lost your mind?"

The man snorted, shooting Fellon an amused glance. "Why would I spread false belief amidst our walls?"

"It does sound-"

"Be quiet, all of you!" Maddox's asserted voice calmed everyone else's. They may not always show it, but they do respect their leader. "Stop dramatizing the situation. Erros would not lie and you should know that." Silence filled the room as the man stood up and walked towards his comrade. "I expect you to continue studying her abilities."

"Of course."

"So, little Lilith will stay? Superb!" Wrem smiled her typical smile, a mixture of lovely and poisonous. She stood with one hand at her hip, glancing at Erros provocatively. "This tedious shitshow might improve at last."

Wrem's rich red dress swayed in the air along her long, matching red hair as she strode out of the room. Every inch about her radiated off confidence. She is looking forward to getting to know their little addition to the set.

Lilith could not surpress a smirk raising to her lips as Erros injected the needle, blackish liquid being drained out of her arm. "What is so amusing?" Erros asked, eyes glancing up to hers for a moment.

"I will never get over the fact that a vampire took blood from me via needle. This is too funny," she chuckled and Erros joined her.

"I'll give you that," he chuckled, "But just as you know, I am the one whose teeth you do not have to fear from."

"Why is that?"

"I do not kill or even harm humans. I am sort of a vegetarian for lack of better terminology."

"Oh, you survive by animal blood? That's an interesting concept. Are the others here living that same lifestyle?"

Erros met her eyes and laughed somewhat cold. "No, no they're not." He put a little bandage over her arm. "Put pressure on it."

She did as told and watched his concentrated expression as he scribbled down some notes.

He looked up at her and smiled slightly. "Thank you for your cooperation." Erros finished all possible examinations they could do here.

"Of course, doctor."

He snickered ever so slightly and stood up. "You must feel weary now. I'll leave you to rest."

"Not at all, actually. I feel pretty good. Being in here all the time laying around like a sack of rice gets boring after almost two weeks."

"Is that so? Would you like to accompany me then?"

"Yes, please!"

"Splendid." He held out his hand for her to help her to her feet, but she did not need it and smiled confidently at him. He smiled in return, slightly surprised but in a good way. "How about I show you around the residence?"

"I'd love that." They walked a few steps and she looked up at him with wide curiosity. "Say, Erros."

"Yes?"

"Why do only you and Maddox visit me? I saw several others in that room recently. I'd like to meet them."

"That's a reasonable question. Not everybody is here at the moment, but you can meet some of them now if you'd like that."
