22: Please Don't Stare (Momo Hinamori)

Summary: Momo has been gaining some weight, and Rangiku doesn't mind it one bit.

All day long she's been able to feel Rangiku's sharp eyes on her, even throughout the lieutenant meeting Rangiku would continue to stare holes into her, probably not even paying attention to what what Nanao was talking about, though not like Momo had been any different.

Momo could hardly focus on what was being discussed during the meeting as all she could focus on was Rangiku's eyes staring at her, or more specifically, staring at her rather plump body.

Momo is not blind to how rapidly her body had started to change, it had been quite the opposite actually, she has been hyper aware of every pound that got added to her body no matter how fast it would happen, yet she never managed to stop the pounds from piling up and taking the form of fatrolls on her once thin body.

But can you blame her!? All the new food that she had decided to try impulsively had thightly grabbed ahold of her, and before she knew it, Momo just couldn't stop eating it more and more, it's not her fault that most of the food had been really fattening and filled with nothing but sugar.

Though even despite that, the speed at which Momo had gained to much weight was insane, it felt like she had been lean and thin one day but had turned round and chubby the next, so she truly couldn't blame Rangiku for staring so much, though that didn't stop Momo from feeling very nervous and embarrassed because of it.

Nanao seemed to have finished talking about whatever they had been discussing as she moved on to the next subject on her long list of topics. "Now for our next subject of discussion-"

"Someone stole all my sweets!" Yachiru exclaimed loudly, cutting off the now very annoyed Nanao.

"Seriously? That hardly sounds like a problem worth discussing." Rangiku said as she played nonchalantly with her hair, angering Yachiru in the process.

Nanao quickly began talking before Yachiru got the chance to do so again. "I agree that a few missing sweets usually wouldn't be such a big deal but theft should not be taken so lightly." She said in an attempt to make Rangiku take the situation more seriously.

"I guess you do have a point." Rangiku finally stopped playing with her hair and rested her hands over her thighs. "But who would be so childish as to steal sweets?"

Before anyone could even begin to think about a possible culprit, Yachiru started throwing out accusations. "It was probably Miss Pudgy!" She said as she pointed an accusing finger towards Momo.

"I swear it wasn't me!" Momo said loudly as she instantly went on to defend herself, not even questioning the new nickname Yachiru had decided to give her. "I know I've been looking a lot fuller lately but I swear I would never steal something!"

Before Yachiru could say anything in response Rangiku stepped in. "I believe Momo, she's not the type of person to do something like that." She said as she looked over at Momo with a gentle smile which the chubby lieutenant returned.

But in less than a second Rangiku's gentle smile turned into a devious one as she moved closer to her, causing Momo to feel nervous. "Though I am interested in knowing how she ended up looking so much rounder." As she said that Rangiku placed her hand on Momo's squeezy belly.

"It's because she's been eating a lot of sweets!" Yachiru cut in again. "She probably ate all of her own sweets and decided to eat mine too!" She said like it was a fact.

"I really didn't, please believe me!" Momo said as she put her hands up, trying to desperately convince Yachiru that she was telling the truth.

She couldn't deny that she had been eat a lot of sugary treats, seeing as the result of her self indulgence was shown clearly on her body, but even if she had ran out of her own and was craving literally any type of sugar filled food, she still wouldn't stoop low enough to steal something.

"Your waistline says other things." Rangiku said teasingly as she squeezed her love handles tightly, causing Momo to shriek loudly.

But before Momo got the chance to say anything about Rangiku's sudden need to touch her like that, Yachiru started speaking again. "See, I'm not the only one who thinks you're the culprit!" Yachiru yelled at Momo like she was on trial. She's taking finding the thief more seriously than she ever took her lieutenant duties.

The girl loves sweets so much that Momo's convinced that she would kill someone for them, and yet Momo had been the one to end up gaining so much weight because of them.

Nanao seemed to have finally had enough of their arguing as she sighed loudly before finally speaking again. "What if I bought you some more sweets, would that solve the problem, Yachiru?" She offered, having come to realize that they weren't going to find the real culprit anyways.

"Okay!" Yachiru immediately exclaimed loudly, now having completely forgotten about how angry she had been mere seconds ago.

Before anyone else could say anything Rangiku started teasing again. "Maybe you should buy some for Momo too seeing as she suddenly can't seem to stop eating them." Rangiku poked Momo's belly repeatingly as she said that.

"I mean I wouldn't mind having some..." Momo admitted quietly as her cheeks turned red from embarrassment, she finally noticed how her stomach had started to growl from all the talk about delicious sugary sweets.

Suddenly Rangiku's face moved closer to Momo's face as she started seductively whispering in her ears. "Come to my room after this and you'll get to eat all the sweets you want~" She squeezed Momo's belly tightly.

Rangiku's words caused Momo's eyes to go wide with shock as her whole face started to feel burning hot, she was so flustered she couldn't get any words to leave her mouth, though that didn't mean that she didn't take Rangiku up on that offer when the meeting was finally over.
