Obsessive Type: "My world revolves around you!"

This Yandere is utterly obsessed with you. In fact, they have little to no concern regarding anything or anyone else. Almost always a stalker, many Obsessive Types will know every detail about you. They also tend to have one or more shrines of you in their house. At the very least, they will collect items that belong to you, or items that remind them of you. This could be a simple photo, one of your hair ties, or a piece of your clothing. This type isn't inherently violent, but they can be just as dangerous as any other yandere.

Progressive Type: "I've never felt this way about anyone before..."

The Progressive Type will seem like a normal person at first. However, they have dull and/or cold personalities. Unable to identify and describe many of their emotions, this type may be depressed or suicidal. This all changes once they meet you. They are suddenly able to experience emotions they've never felt before. They will feel alive around you, and as a result, they will quickly fall in love. They'll become attached, wanting to spend as much time with you as possible. While this allows their true personality to surface, this is also their awakening... The more time they spend with you, the more dangerous they will become. They will eventually evolve into a Yandere.

Possessive Type: "You are mine and mine alone."

Whether they are an ex, a current lover, or a best friend, The Possessive Type will typically know you on a personal level. They are notoriously jealous people who want to be your number one. They are insecure and afraid to lose you to someone else. If they notice you are spending too much time with other people, they will take it upon themselves to "eliminate" anyone who gets in the way. They don't take rejection well. Rejecting this yandere will result in a violent outburst, in the form of a killing spree and/or a kidnapping. If they are still convinced that you are not loyal to them, they will kill you.

Delusional Type: "Now we can finally be together...forever!"

The Delusional Yandere is convinced that you love them. Never met them before? That's no excuse. You sent them signs! Like making prolonged eye contact. Maybe you spoke to them once years ago. Or you could have gone to school with them and don't remember. In the end, this yandere cannot be convinced that you hate them. In their minds, you love them and you want to be with them - you just don't realize it yet! Luckily, they love you too much to harm you. But they will kidnap you so they can live out their fantasies. Unfortunately, once they have you, there is almost no chance at escape. Many have kidnapped before, and have learned from their previous mistakes.

Manipulative Type: "I'm doing this for you. You'll thank me one day."

The Manipulative Yandere is an intelligent (and often wealthy) person, with the single goal to have complete control over you. In many situations where one falls in love, they will offer you a better life in exchange for your love and obedience. If denied, they will take drastic measures to make you regret your decision. Putting a hit on your significant other, getting you fired from your job, turning your friends against you, getting you evicted from your home...there is nothing they won't do to try and force you back into their arms. Once that happens, they will shower you with gifts and affection, and promise that all of your problems will vanish, as long as you continue to do as they say. Soon you will become entirely dependent on the yandere. Disobeying their wishes will lead to a punishment (sometimes referred to as a "lesson"), to discourage you from disobeying them ever again.
