36.Time for the truth

NIALLS POV

I anxiously waited for Liam to tell us how much we raised. I bit my nails so much that they began bleeding. whoops. " We raised £16,450!!" He squealed I leaped out of my seat onto my good leg and Harry ran over and hugged me. We cried into each others shirts. tears of joy. my Kat had a chance of living.

KATS POV

the boys ran into my hospital room with beaming smiles. I looked over them and attempted to give them a smile but the pain was unbearable "help me" i tried to say but it came out as a whisper. I felt my eyelids getting heavy. no kat fight it. you have to fight it come on, come on. keep them open. I made eye contact with harry and his expression instantly changed. " NURSE... DOCTOR!!!!!" he screamed the doctors came running in " please save my daughter" I heard my mum cry. I was whisked away to another room where a nurse injected me with something that gave me a funny taste in my mouth. my eyelids got even heavier and I couldn't fight it any more.my eyelids slammed shut and I had no thought. it felt as though I didn't exist any more. I felt dead...

HARRYS POV

"NURSE...DOCTOR PLEASE!!!!!" kat is in danger someone needs to come and save her. Gemma was sitting in the chair just staring at Kat. she didnt know what to do. kat began coughing up blood. someone needs to come soon otherwise she is going to die... I cant let this happen.as I went to scream for a doctor a crowd of them ran in. They pushed kat away and one of the doctors stood infront of us. my mum was hysterical crying with Dad comforting her. Liam was with gemma as she shook her head in disbelief. Louis and Zayn were calming Niall down as I stood in the bloody space where kats bed was. I looked at the doctor anxiously. he looked at me and sighed. He took a deep breath preparing to tell us the news. i waited for him to begin.

" from what just happened kat's leukemia has gotton worse. it seems as though it has hit stage 4. if it s not treated soon she will die from it. but of course the operation is ridiculously expensive and-"

" we have the money" louis butted in quickly with a hopeful expression on his face. the doctor looked at the clipboard then back up at me and the boys. " would you like me to operate now??" The doctor asked. I looked over to mum she nodded quickly. and the doctor nodded back and ran out of the room. I ran to my mum and hugged her. she began to cry again. " go home look. me and the boys will stay here." I suggested gently. my mum thought about it then nodded.

" Keep us updated" she instructed. I smiled warmly as she kissed my forehead and left Kat's hospital room to go home. I smiled to myself when I saw all the boys were staring at me. " what??" I asked confused.

" Haz you might wanna get changed. Louis said looking me up and down. I looked at my clothes and arms. I was covered in blood. I looked at the boys and nodded. I ran to my car and drove home as fast as I could without breaking the limit because I couldn't afford to get a ticket AGAIN!! And I'm scars of what Liam would say. I ran upto the door of the house and went to unlock it. I leaned on the door and it opened. I slowly walked in wondering why it was unlocked. I shook the thought away and proceeded to run up the stairs to my room. as I ran past Kat's room I slowed down and heard sobbing. I stopped and put my ear against the door, someone was inside. I slowly pushed the door open. Mia was sitting in the middle of the room in tears holding what looked like a photo album. I slowly approached her and she snapped her head around. her mascara had all run but she still looked as beautiful as always. she sniffled and looked at the book in her hands. I slipped down besides her and put my arm around her " what you got babe??" I cooed gently
" It's- a- photo al-album k-Kat made me for-for my birth-birthday" she cried between sniffles and jerks. she had our song 'right now' playing in the backround and was on the page of her and Kat on Brighton pier.

*flashback*

" Come on just one picture" Kat giggled the wind blowing her red hair all over the place she was pulling Mia by her arm towards the end of the pier for a picture. " fine just one" Mia finally gave in " yay" Kat smiled. they posed for their picture and I made eye contact with Kat and she smiled at me. " Harry's turn" she laughed making her way over to me. I was glad she wanted a picture with me. she means so much to me. we took a picture and I hugged her. " haz can't breath" she laughed into my chest " good" I smirked. I let go and she walked over to Niall she readjusted her knee brace and her and Niall strolled in front of the rest of us.

*end of flashback*

" I don't want to lose her haz. I can't lose her. I just can't." Mia cried I hugged her and tried to calm her down. " I'm going to get changed and then I'm going back to the hospital. do you want to come with me?" I asked Mia hoping she would calm down a bit. she nodded and I stood up. I pulled Mia to her feet and we went to my room. I got changed into a white shirt and black jeans. I interlocked finger with Mia and we made our way to my car. we were sitting in my car on our way to the hospital. the only sound was the radio

" And in other news celebrity Kat styles-" I quickly turned it off not wanting to her what they had to say. Mia was holding firmly onto her photo album. we pulled around the back of the hospital and I climbed out of the car and then to Mia's door and pulled it open for her. she smiled weakly and followed me into the hospital. we went back into Kat's room and Mia ran to Louis and hugged him. " where's Niall?" I asked the boys
" With the doctor about his leg" Liam explained. I nodded and excused myself and went to the bathroom. I was walking back when I saw Niall... but he wasn't with the doctor. he was kissing a blonde nurse. I was furious. my fist clenched by my sides. I hid around the corner until the nurse left. I flew around the corner and pinned Niall to the wall. " you cheat!!" I spat. Niall was startled at my aggressive behaviour. "mate what are you on about?" He replied

" Don't act all innocent I saw what just happened, you're cheating on my sister!!"

" No haz you've got the wrong idea-"

" Don't you 'haz' me you said you wouldn't hurt her. that you would never betray her, well what do you call this!!" I don't think I've ever been so mad

" Harry you don't understand it's not what it looks like."

" Really because it looks pretty clear" I screamed

" Harry you're wrong I-"

" Don't even bother" I shook my head looking at Niall in disgust letting go of him " I never thought you would do this." I sighed walking away. why was he doing this?

NIALLS POV

I left the boys to go to the doctor about my leg when I past a nurse.
" Excuse me miss? Do you know where dr. Jacobs is??" I asked her. she smiled before replying. " Yes here I'll take you to him." I smiled back and followed her. she led me into a room and stood in the doorway. " so is he like on his way or okay-" she made her way over towards me I backed away and eventually was against the wall

" Please I'll inspect you" she smirked

" No it's okay" I tried to walk away she put her hands on my shoulders and crashed her lips onto mine. her kiss wasn't like Kat's. hers were rough and cold. Kat's were soft and warm. I tried to push her off me but failed with every attempt. she finally pulled away and smirked before she walked away. wtf?!?! I was about to leave when Harry stormed over. he got the wrong idea he thought I was cheating on Kat. I would never do that. but I know that if it was the other way round I would think the exact same thing. how will I get myself out of this. Harry stormed off and I slowly followed behind him. I need to sort this out.
