Bright glanced across the spacious room. Right before his eyes was Win doing a quick go-over in front of the mirror, making sure he's all set for the party. He couldn't help but admire the latter's lean and sturdy physique, subsequently making a mental note to go back to his boxing sessions when he gets some time off work.

"No, you don't have anything on your face, Metawin," he commented, truly amused with how the guy scanned his face like an iPhone would for facial recognition.

The younger guy, who has finally moved forward to choose which pair of shoes to sport tonight, playfully glowered at him.

"Tell me honestly, P'Bai," he spoke.

Bright raised a brow, waiting for the impending inquiry. He couldn't be bothered with his comfortable position right now, all propped up in bed with a blanket draped all over his body.

"Did I gain too much weight?" Win turned to look at Bright and his reaction. Over the years they have been working together, he has learned how to read his face so he would know if he's lying.

Caught off guard, Bright straightened up and snickered. He only stopped when he realized Win was pouting.

"So I really did, huh?" His shoulders slumped.

Bright cleared his throat.

"First of all, whether you gained weight or not is such a first-world problem. And to answer your question, no. You look perfectly healthy."

Win said nothing and continued to search for the perfect pair.

The older guy gave up the comfort of his bed and stood beside Win.

"You've been reading comments again, have you?" he muttered.

Breaking free from his sulky mood, Win grinned cheekily.

"Ha! Gotcha! I knew this would make you get up from bed."

He repeatedly tapped Bright's shoulder, urging him to fix himself and get ready.

It was Bright's turn to be surly.

This sneaky guy didn't win The Best New Actor award for nothing, he thought.

"I already told you, Metawin. I am not going," he groaned.

He proceeded to loll in his sofa this time while Win tried to drag him off of it.

"It'll be fun!" he drawled. "Besides, what are you going to do here in our hotel room all afternoon?"

"I would happily catch up on sleep," Bright replied, resisting Win's strength.

"There is no such thing as catching up on sleep."

Bright let out a long sigh on account of his co-worker slash friend's stubbornness. Sometimes Win could really be convincing. But this case's a tad bit sensitive for him.

"She's going to be there, okay?" he mumbled.

"Who?" Win asked, letting go of Bright seeing that he's serious now.

But he only looked at Win and they both knew who he meant.

The once very eager guy raised his hands in surrender.

"Okay, alright. But damn, you're gonna be missing out."

Bright could only shrug. He went back to bed, adamant on his decision of staying in.

Win on the other hand has finally chosen the final item to complete his look.

"Well then, call me or P'Eed if you need anything," he said as he slung a small bag over his shoulder and headed towards the door.
