Franky's Pov;

"Hey Franky, Robin ! We're heading out to the store to buy things for the ship. Stay back and watch the ship ok ?!" - Luffy

"Ok Luffy !! While you guys are out can you buy me some books, specifically these ?" Robin handed Luffy a small piece of paper which had a small list of books she wanted.

"Oh and can you guys get me these as well?" I handed Usopp a piece of paper with parts and tools I needed, Usopp was the person I trusted most with my work.

"Ok guys we'll make sure to get your things, we'll be heading out now !" - Nami

"Ok, take care !" Robin gave them a gentle smile as she waved them bye.

It was the two of us left on the ship, me and Robin have been in a relationship for some time now. Since the first time we met in Enies Lobby, we had a connection. As I laid eyes on the beautiful "Devil Child" I held her and protected her from any harm on our first encounter, she wasn't at all devilish like the government made her out to be. She was a gentle but strong women, and there's no one else I would've chosen to fall in love with.

"Hey ! Franky ?" Robin had a confused look on her face, as she looked up at me wondering why I was staring off in space.

"Oh? Sorry about that, my mind drifted."

"What were you thinking about ?"

"Our first encounter actually,"

"Oh ? I'm surprised you still even remember that."

"How could I forget the first time I met the love of my life."

I saw Robin shyly turn her face from my direction, even a strong women like her can act shy when the time is right

"Anyways..So what do you want to do untill everyone comes back ? We have to take advantage of the silence !"

"I'm actually not sure Franky, how about I make us some tea and we can just chat for now?"

"That sounds like a SUPER great idea!" I give her a small smile and wait for her patiently on the deck as she makes us some tea.

"Here you go darling , with a teaspoon of honey and one sugar cube, just how you like it." Robin had a proud smile on her face.

"Ah , you know me so well my love."

"Well of course I do !"

We laugh and talk for a while,'Robin talked about all her journies before joining the strawhats, and thoughts about the poneglyph and other things that I don't really understand. Even so, I pay close attention to every word she says, as her eyes shine when she talks about her interest. I can listen to her ramble on for hours.

"Ah I'm sorry, I went on for so long .. well how about you Franky ? How was your past ?"

"I actually met the king of the pirates once, he came over to water 7 to get something fixed on his ship I believe. It surprises me that I almost forgot such sn important encounter."

"Wow Franky that's amazing !! I can't believe you met the king of the pirates ! How was he like ?"

"He was somewhat like Luffy, actually when I look back I can't see him in any other way."

"How interesting that is, similar to the king of the pirates huh ? What a person our captain turned out to be .."

"Exactly that."

We went on and on about other things, random things, and deep conversation. Time flys by when talking with Robin. It's nice to have some quiet time with just her and me. Nothing can interrupt her as she passionately went on about her dream and interest. Time flew by and we didn't even realize the sun went down.

"Ahh look how late it's gotten, I didn't even realize how long we've been chating here."

"It's fine my love, I enjoy hearing you talk."

"..Thank you Darling ."

"Well of course, come on ! Let's go wash these cups."

"Ok!"

We head to the kitchen to wash the dishes we used and decided to sit on the deck together and watch the sunset.

"Come Franky ,"

Robin gestured her hand for me to get closer, I always got pretty tense when it came to things like physical affection. Especially since I'm made of iron, I never want to hurt her in any way because of it.

"It's fine love, don't be so tense . Ok ?"

"Yeah I know,"

I allow Robin to lay herself on me, even though my front side was made of iron she still found a way to be comfortable laying on me. I brushed her hair softly and held her in my arms.

"I love you.."

"I love you too, Robin"

I saw how relaxed Robin got, she was falling asleep. I carried her to my room and laid her in my bed. She never slept in her own bed after all. I pulled the cover over her and watched as she peacefully slept. I gave her a soft kiss on her forehead making sure not to wake her up. I love her a lot and i'm glad she feels the same way about me.

I lay myself next to her, she turns and lays her body against mine. Even while she's asleep, she makes sure to stay close to me. I held her softly and fell into a deep sleep which lasted until the next morning.
