Ian Macqueen
When Ian saw Natalie, he tried to control his nerves so as not to be rude to her. Ian did not like Natalie at the first meeting. He thought she was psychologically fragile. And he knew that such people acted emotionally, not logically. Ian had never seen any of the emotionally successful steps taken.
"What did you put in the car?" Ian rolled his eyes, tilted his head slightly to the right, and looked into the car.
'What are you doing here?' Natalie asked standing a few meters away from Ian.
Ian smiled and said, 'I told you, there are police in the area to protect you. I told them to follow you when they told you to leave the building. Then I waited patiently when I heard you went to see Katherine's mother. But being here means going too far. You are creating a big obstacle and confusion in this investigation."
Natalie could not answer, she knew that what Ian said was irritating but he was right.
Ian pointed Natalie's car to Sam, "Take the luggage and bring it here."
Gathering all her courage, Natalie protested, saying, "You are not allowed to do this."
"I did not get your permission. You obstruct the investigation."
"Who allowed you to touch my daughter's belongings?" Katherine's mother walked out of the company door towards Ian angrily. "I asked her to take them."
Ian could not hide his confusion. He closed his eyes and said, "Look. Touching those things without our control simply complicates our work."
"Don't look for my daughter's killer among her belongings," She said, raising her voice.
Ian didn't want to hurt the old woman.
Everyone looked at Natalie. Natalie turned her back to the trunk, took out the box, and gave it to Sam.
Ian looked at Natalie angrily, saying, "You put not only one box, but something else."
Without answering, Natalie turned around again, took the folded Katherine's jacket from the trunk, and put it on the box.
"I wrapped it in my hand so that it wouldn't fit in the box. I hope you will find Paul in the pockets of her jacket, detective," she said angrily, slamming the door of the car and getting behind the wheel.
