You're out going for a walk in the morning. It was sunny, people are everywhere, but you don't seem to notice these things.

You have something at the back of your mind that you just can't seem to get forget or ignore.

"No, you're to become a doctor! Everyone here has their future planned out! They all want to help people! Do you not understand this?!" My father told me.

"I want to help people too dad! But being a doctor is not what I desire! I want to bake! I want to make tasty snacks and deserts for everyone to enjoy! I want to put a smile on their faces while I do what I want to do!" I replied back in a loud voice.

A loud thud came after.

Next thing I know, my dad punched me.

His blow was a fistful of disappointment towards me.

All he thinks about is the lineage... The tradition.... The money....

"Get out of my sight..." He said.

And that was probably the last words I heard from him.

You reach a bakery and stopped walking. The door was came open as customers were going out.

You smell the aroma of yeast and well-cooked bread and pastries that you're absurdly familiar with. After all, it's something you've been studying for years while sneaking out of medicine practice and studies.

"Ahhh..." I exclaimed.

.
.
.

"Anon, are you sure about this?" My big sister asked me.

I was packing my bags, and my mind was made up. I want to leave this place. I want to be on my own, without any help from my father. I want to prove to him that I can do what I want to do! And I'll be successful at it!

"I'm sorry nee-san, I really want to do this... I've had my mind made up. And you know I can't chase that dream when I'm here...." I replied to her as I pick up my bags.

My mom then enters the room.

"Anon.... If you're really sure about this... Then I won't stop you...." My mother said to me as she walks over to me.

She gives me a big, tight, and warm hug.

I embrace her back.

"Thank you mom..." I said.

My big sister went and joined us as well.

"You got this, okay...? You're a tough one after all!" My sister said.

I know she wants to cheer me up, but I can sense the tiny bit of gloom she has on her voice and expressions... I'm really sorry.... Nee-san....

"I'll be sending you some money for rent and bills. But you're gonna be the one to pay for what you eat, okay?" My mom said.

"No mom, it's oka-" My sister had smacked my back before I could say something patriotic.

"Don't give us that crap Anon! We're here to support you on your dreams! You better let us help while we still can or else we can't call ourselves family!" She scolded me.

She's a really nice person.

"Thanks you guys... I really appreciate this!" I told them.

"I promise you! I won't let you guys down!" I added.
