It was a day like any other for Jack. He was watching some stupid show on T.V. Nothing really important. He sighed as he turned off the television and walked to his room. It was the weekend, so of course his roommate wasn't home.
"The asshole is most likely out getting drunk and fucking some girl," he said aloud. Smiling and laughing slightly at what he said grabbing his black hoodie off of his chair. He slipped it on, snatched his keys, and threw them in the pocket of his hoodie. He walked out the door, locking it behind him.
He slipped out of his apartment-complex and began walking around only to be stopped by a quite and soft voice. "Hello Jack!" a voice said. Jack looked up to see a blonde haired girl.
"Uhm, hey" Jack said waving. 'Shit—what was her name? Jenna? No Jenny! right,' Jack thought to himself. "What are you doing out so late Jenny?" Jack looked down at her bag. She must of just gotten out of school judging by how she still had her books. He looked back up at her. "Just getting out of school or something?"
"Mhm!" She nodded, smiling brightly. "We have finals coming up, so have to stay on point, ya know?" Jenny said softly yet cheerfully.
"Yeah, I hear you," Jack said chuckling. The smile on his face faded quickly.
"It's going to rain soon. You might want to get inside," Jenny said. Before Jack could say anything, she turned away on her heal then ran off.
Jacks eyes followed her figure till she was out of sight then. He felt a drop of water land on him, then another, and another. 'Great, I guess that's why she ran off.' Jack cursed under his breath.
He started to walk back to his apartment-complex when he ran straight into someone. The two of them fell backwards onto the ground.
"I'm so so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going," said the stranger.
Jack looked over to see who had knocked him over. His gaze was met with (Y/C) eyes. "It's fine. It's also my fault," Jack said while getting up. He held out hand to help them up. They took his hand and got up.
"My names (Y/N)," they said, smiling nervously.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Jack," he said in return, also smiling nervously. "Sorry to knock you over, but i'mma be on my way now. Bye!" He waved before walking away slowly.
"Bye!" They returned the wave and turned to walk away. Jack glanced back, but continued his walking.
When he got back, he walked to his room to see his roommate asleep on the bed. 'Heh- guess I better get to bed. It is pretty late after all,' Jack thought to himself. He flopped onto his bed and fell asleep shortly after.

"All hail Chrunabug. His blood stained hands will bring us to ever lasting peace," a man said from over top of Jack.
The whole room chanted, "All hail Chrunabug" over and over and over. Jack felt a sharp pain and- he woke up.
~~~~
Jack woke up in a cold sweat. Panting as he shot up, he looked around wary. After he realized that he was in his room, he calmed down slightly. He looked over to his roommate who was still asleep because of the loud snoring coming from him. Jack got up and quickly walked to the bathroom. After wiping away some more sweat, he looked into the bathroom mirror. He shut his eyes trying, to think of some sort of logical explanation for his dream.
'There has to be one—right? Maybe it was all of the horror games that I've been playing lately. Yeah! That must be it, I've just been playing too many scary video game's,' Jack thought to him self, sighing in relief. He left the bathroom and got a glass of water. He quickly chugged the whole thing down, laid back down on his bed, and tried to go back to sleep.
He didn't get much more sleep due to his roommate shaking him awake. "Yo! Come on get up. I have to show you something," his roommate pleaded.
Jack gave in and sighed as he sat up to look at his roommate. "What the hell is it?" he groaned. "This better be important." Jack gave an annoyed look at him.
His roommate pulled up his phone and showed Jack a picture. "Look who got laid last night," he said. The picture was of a topless woman with a drunken look.
Jack scoffed, "She looks drunk."
"You're just jealous."
"Nope! I would rather get through school than getting some chick pregnant when I don't even have my own life together," Jack said grinning.
"Fair point good sir, but fuck you!" They both laughed. "I'm gonna be heading out now. Don't stay in to long night owl," he said.
Jack chuckled, then got out of bed as his roommate left the room.
~~~~
Jack let out a grunt of boredom as he clicked through random shows, bored out of his mind. He got up to get some food. On his way to the kitchen, he got stopped. There was a knock on his door. He quickly walked to the door and opened it. To his surprise, it was Jenny.
"Hiya Jack!" Jenny smiled in her usual cheerful way.
"Uh, hey what's up?" This felt odd to Jack since he never told Jenny were he lived. In-fact, they never really talked except yesterday night. He played it off, maybe she watched him walk in here once without him noticing or maybe his roommate told her where the apartment is that they just so happened to share.
"If your not busy, I have something I want to show you!" Jenny smiled.
"Um-" Jack looked back in his apartment. He knew that there was nothing or anything to do other than taking Jenny up on her offer. "-sure, I guess." Jack smiled weakly and nodded.
"Great! Grab your stuff and lets go!!" Jenny said overly excited. Jack couldn't help but smile at how she was able to keep being so happy and up-beat.
After getting his stuff and locking up the door to his apartment, he followed Jenny for what felt like hours until they crossed paths with someone with (H/C).
"oh- hey Jen!" They smiled and looked over at Jack "Hm?" They mumbled something to them self "Hiya Jack" they said just as cheerful.
