Chapter 23: A Gift From Space

The trio went inside and collapsed. The Guide walked over to them. 

"Welcome back, did you find the Water Bolt?" 

"Yeah, we did!" Mike said. "We almost died, though." 

"I'm not even surprised." The Guide said while rolling his eyes. "So, Bell, I think I have something for you, too."

"Oh?"

The Guide looked in the chest and pulled out some meteorite bars. 

"Alright, it's time for you to make a Star Cannon. You'll need these meteorite bars, 5 fallen stars, and your Minishark." 

"What?! I have to sacrifice my Minishark?!"

"Don't worry, with all the money you have been getting lately, I'm sure you can buy another one."

When the group had returned home, it was already nighttime, and there were fallen stars all over the place in the fields. They ran out and collected as many as they could. When they had returned, they all had about 100 each.

They gave 5 to the Guide and he took Bell's Minishark and made the Star Cannon. 

"Now, this is the most powerful ranged weapon that you can currently get. However, it runs on stars, so that balances it out."

The Guide gave Bell her new Star Cannon.

"Alright. Now, everyone, listen. You need to go... to the Underworld." 

"WHAT?!" Mike said.

"Crazy, right? But listen. There is a material down there called Hellstone. You need it to craft armor, a new sword, a new bow, and most importantly, a new pickaxe." The Guide said. 

"Alright!" 

"But be careful, this ore will hurt you if you touch it, and it releases lava when it is broken. You will want to craft an Obsidian Skin Potion. You can make them by combining a bottle of water, fireblossom, waterleaf, and a piece of obsidian." 

"How do we get fireblossom?" 

"It's a flower that can only be found in the Underworld. It blooms during sunset."

"Okay, now how do we get to the Underworld?" 

"All you have to do is go very deep underground. When you find a place filled with lava, you know you've reached it."
