It was the dreadful morning of February 14th, all the couples in the streets walked around boasting about their love while you just spent it at the library. You walked the few blocks from your home to the library not bothering to like look decent. You just threw on a sweater, skinny jeans, combat boots, and a beanie and ran out the door. You walked into the library and the bell rang, the librarian greeted you kindly, smiling and said , "hello". You were considered a "regular" so the workers knew you pretty well. You returned your old books and made your way to the Young Adult section to get some new ones. Young Adult was your favorite genre even though your friends liked biographies. You loved the stories, the characters, and how easily you could relate to the characters. You loved it honestly. You looked for the book you had been looking for as you had been keeping an eye out for it for the past few weeks. You were excited to read it , but the library hadn't  got it on shelves until now. It took you near 15 minutes to find the book , but it was on a very high shelf, which you were too short for. A voice called from behind you and you turned to find a man around your age standing there. He was gorgeous. He had bright blue eyes and blonde hair styled into a quiff. He was pretty tall compared to you. He had to be a good six foot at least.  He was pale and wearing a band tee of my favorite band. "Need some help there?", the boy inquired, "Yes, you pointed to the book on the top shelf and the boy helped you retrieve it, he handed it to you with a beautiful smile on his face. You smiled back politely. He asked you about yourself and you answered them truthfully, then you switched roles and spent around an hour talking to one another. "Well I should get going, will I ever hear from you again?", he asked hopeful. "Yes, I'll make sure I call you later.", you replied and the boy gave you a puzzled look. You took it as though he had not written his number in the book as you predicted and you blushed embarrassed. He told you it wasn't a problem and wrote his number in your book so you could call him as you said.  He walked out of the library and the librarian smiled at you knowingly. You smiled back and left the library walking towards your house once again, but this time not being bothered by the couples on the streets.
