Ty struggled to carry both a sleeping Lyndy and his bags through the Vancouver Airport.

He was relieved when he finally saw Lily standing at the gate.

" Hey, Mom," said Ty tiredly.

" hey baby, here, let me help you with that," said Lily taking the bags from his hands.

" thank you," said Ty appreciatively.

" she's getting so big," Lily said, referring to Lyndy.

You're telling me I used to be able to carry her and a bag this size quickly now I feel like I am going to fall off," said Ty.

" I sense my baby's growing up approaching, " said Lily.

" Well, she is. It's sad, amazing and terrifying at the same time," said Ty.

" okay, let's get you out of here before you cry," said Lily jokingly.

" very funny," said Ty smiling.

20 minutes later

Ty carried Lyndy into the guest room and laid her down on the bed.

He didn't notice the pills on the nightstand.

An hour later

Lyndy was still sleeping.

Ty opened the fridge, hoping to make Lyndy lunch before waking her up.

However, all he found was tofu and vegetarian stuff.

" what the hell? " said Ty confused.

" what's wrong?" Asked Lily.

" When did you become a vegetarian?" Asked Ty.

" I didn't like tofu better," said Lily.

" well, Lyndy is not going to eat any of this," said Ty.

Lyndy was not a picky eater, but she was four, and Ty knew even she had limits.

" can I trust you to watch her while I go get some food she will eat? He Asked.

" of course," said Lily smiling.

" make sure you check on her every 10 minutes if she's awake and alone for too long; she'll get into stuff she shouldn't," said Ty.

" I will, I promise," said Lily.

Then Ty left.

She had I fully intended they keep her promise but got distracted.

20 minutes later

Lyndy woke up and looked around.

" yay, we're at Nana's," she thought.

Then she saw the pills on the nightstand.

" Oh yay, she left me candy," she thought.

Lyndy picked up one of the pills and put it in her mouth.

She chewed and swallowed about half before she realized how bitter it was.

" ew, that's yucky candy," she thought.

She then spent the rest out.
