Violet's POV:
I didn't understand why me? Everyday here was complete torture. I wanted all this pain to just...end. I didn't understand what I had done so bad that caused everyone here to just have this unspoken hatred for me.
It was another normal day of me having to get ready for school and then get on my bus being extremely sleepy as I usually would be. I of course sat in the back with Julian and he just looked at me with complete tiredness all over his face. I just put my backpack in front of me as I snuggle up into the window and slowly drifted off to sleep.
After what felt like hours I could feel a little bit of pressure on my shoulder, causing me to slightly wake up. I looked around and saw I was about to be dropped off at my school. I turned my head over to Julian and realized he had fallen asleep as well causing his head to fall onto my shoulder.
I of course laughed a bit and had to tap him for a bit once we got closer so I could get off a bit better. He woke up after a few taps and apologized to me and let me get off. I had to wait a bit because of course everyone was rushing off of the bus and taking quite a long time to just get off.
Once I was off I looked around for my friend Aiden, once I found him I rushed over and hugged him. "Hey bitchhhh!! So what do we have planned for today?" He kinda just looked at me and laughed. "Nothing special girl, we are going to go inside and find our friends and that is it! Homecoming is coming sooooonnnn did that dude ask you outttt??"
I blushed and shook my head no as we were now walking into the lunch room. I of course let Aiden sit with his friends while I went to a different table and sat with my older friends. One of them being my friend Summer from my bus. She kept looking at me and then at the table behind us.
"Summer, what are you planning? Please relax. I know Manuel is there, I can literally FEEL him staring at me." She giggle and then out of nowhere two of his friends sat down at our table and the both look around.
"Which one of you guys is Violet?" I kinda looked at my legs not wanting to cause him to look at me too much. I hated when people payed too much attention to me, it made me feel uneasy and as if something just was wrong with me or the way I was dressed.
He finally looked at me, "ahhh ok, I am Fabian, I am Manuel's frienddd. Anyways though, Manuel wanted to know if you'd like to go to the dance with him?"
I looked at his friends confused as I could have possibly be and I looked at Manuel and could see that he was smiling at me and actually blushing at the thought of me going out with him. I didn't even get to respond as Summer looked over to Fabian, "if he wants to take her out, he needs to come here and ask her HIMSELF! My wifey will not be going out with a dude that won't even ask her out himself!"
I blushed as all of them began to argue a bit and finally I looked at Fabian and nodded. "Tell him I would love to go to the dance with him, BUT he needs to call me when I get on the bus so I could at least talk to him a bit."
Fabian and the other boy who I did not know the name to just high fives and went back to their table. Me and Manuel still constantly staring at each other and having a good time flirting. Eventually we had to leave much and go to our classes. I had to go to a different section then him but I knew I'd see him around the time I headed to lunch.
After a little bit of having normal classes my friends began to talk about how my ex guy best friend was being cheated on. Apparently his girlfriend Denice was dating a boy 2 years ahead of us in school. I was in shock when I heard because I knew how much he liked her. I couldn't do anything to help him sadly because if I did I would be embarrassing myself and setting myself up for failure.
