Sunsets. Normally they are orange-y.
But nah, sometimes I see it being pink more often in my area recently.
I always thought such-coloured sunsets are cool and nice to see, hence in the few first times when I saw them, I always hoped to see them again.
Because this is pleasing to our eyes as it is in a different colour than it was meant to be.
And also because it is Instagram-worthy.
The pink colour it has is quite unique, being different of the orange colour it supposed to have, making its value seems more higher to us.
Sometimes, such "rare" scenes could also calm and sooth us or even bring joy and hope to us as it is like a good sign due to its rarity.
Often, it really do makes me smile and be awed at it of its colour and uniqueness. But after witnessing them for quite sometimes, I grew to be more unsurprised at them even though the pink colours of the sunset do still bring me joy. Instead, it makes me awed at the sight of the orange sunsets when I am in camp (I can't take any photos though lmao)
However, the wish of seeing more pink sunsets is now something I did not want to make anymore, thanks to me Googling the reason behind the existence of such phenomenal sceneries which I just did, just before starting to type this out.
Apparently, it indicates air pollution. yikes.
forest fires generates ashes and smokes while burning fossil fuels and plastic items create more air pollutants in the air. and this is just a few contributions to the air pollution we have.
All these gases and smog, regardless of it being natural or man-made at all, they can block the light of a certain wavelength. Thus, whenever sunlight tries to pass through all these gases and smog, it changed the colour of the sunsets and the skies they are in too.
yes, all these pink sunsets are indicating air pollution. Or any other coloured sunsets too. And all these reminders are alarming to us too because it is showing that global warming is ain't stopping in the end at least for now.
so even though how all these sunsets are looking so nice and pleasant for our eyes, lets hope we don't see them much in the future, or even none at all, because all of these sunsets will just mean that we are losing the fight against global warming.
I will definitely miss them in the future if such pink sunsets don't appear anymore.
And take the photos of them while you can. It is not an everyday thing too.
So, more orange sunsets please. :)
