Matthew POV

I knew she and I would run into each other again. I hoped it would be very soon, and I was so right!
She looked adorable as ever. You're probably wondering what I'm doing at a CVS; the truth is I had her followed. I had to know where she was going; I wanted to see her again.
Call me a stalker, yes, but ever since the nightclub, I couldn't stop thinking about her.

"Well...did you miss me, my  candy cane?" I winked at her

*and rolled my eyes* As if... she said sarcastically

I chucked at her, sass. "Sassy, I like it."

What are you doing here? she said

If I recall, this is CVS, a public pharmacy and store

She rubbed her arm, blushing as red as a tomato, feeling embarrassed.

*shifted eyes and smirked*

"Are you blushing, Candy Cane?"

"N-no, of course not," she muffled

Then how come you're face is bright as a tomato? Are you blushing because of me?

"Don't be silly."

I approached her and lifted her chin. I whispered to her.

"You're beautiful."

She rubbed her arm again. She was silent and blushing.  As I lifted her chin, I got a better view of her. She was beautiful, pure, sassy, and innocent. She had cute little dimples on her face, and her small plump lips made me want to kiss her right here in public. She was curvy and slender, had beautiful deep brown hair, and those eyes...oh, those eyes were beautiful. Beautiful brown eyes she had. She was beautiful without even trying. She didn't need to wear makeup or any of that nonsense; she was pure, natural, and beautiful. I just had to have her. I need to make her mine.

"You'd wish. Well, gotta get going..."

Wait! About that dinner I proposed to you last night?

What about it? she said

Have you given it some thought?

Once again, she rolled her eyes.

"Look, Matthew. I'm not into guys like you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means I'm not into cocky, flirtatious guys who think they can have any girl they want because they have money and looks. I'm not that girl."

"Quite an outspoken mouth you have, little one."

"Thanks"

She turned to pay for her stuff at the register and left the store. I went after her. She was walking into the little mini-mart, and I firmly grabbed her hand; she turned to face me with a surprised look.
