Zoey's POV

I climbed out of Shanes car and thanked him before making my way to the front door and ringing the doorbell. Moments later the door swung open and Luke was standing in front of me wearing a white button shirt with black skinny jeans. 

"Hey babe!" He said pulling me into a tight hug. I placed a sweet kiss on his lips and then followed him into the dining room. The table was set really nicely and Liz was pouring sparkling cider into all of the cups. 

"Hello... Zoey..." She said when she saw me. I could tell she was uncomfortable calling me by my nickname. 

"Hello Liz, you can call me Zamora if it makes you more comfortable." I said as i took a seat next to Luke. 

"No it's fine. I know you prefer to be called Zoey so i will respect that." She said with an obviously forced smile. 

"Thank you..." I replied awkwardly. We sat there for a second not saying anything before Luke spoke up. 

"Why dont we eat!" He said trying to break the awkwardness. Liz and I agreed and we all piled our plates with the food Liz had prepared. I took a bite of the steak and it tasted AMAZING. I made sure to swallow my food before speaking. 

"This steak is AMAZING!" I said with a smile. Liz thanked me and we continued to eat. 

"So Zoey what are your plans for the future?" Liz asked me. 

"Well Amanda, Michael, Calum, Ashton, Luke, and I were all planning on moving to Australia after high school... Since that's where you guys are from Amanda and I thought it would be fun to move down there and get to know what it's like." I replied confidently. 

"That's nice. But i asked what YOUR plans are as in job worthy. Or are you not gonna get a job? Are you gonna make my son pay for everything or are you planning on helping?" When Liz said that Luke practically choked on his drink. 

"Uh... Well i want to photography... and Australia is such a beautiful place to do that." I said. 

"Photography huh... Well that's not going to bring in much money unless youre good at it. So i hope you have a back-up plan." Liz replied bluntly. 

"Mum stop it! Zoey is very good at photography! And plus when the band becomes famous Zoey can be our photographer!" Luke said. I gave him smile and he returned it. 

"I'm just giving constructive critisicsm. I know how she is Luke. She isnt a good person Luke! You can do SO much better than HER! Just dump her now and I can set you up with Stacey's daughter!" Luke looked at me with sad eyes. Is he about to actually dump me. 

"Zoey i'm sorry..." When he said that my heart shattered into a million pieces. "I'm sorry that my mum is being a BITCH!" Luke yelled. Mine and Liz's face held the same shocked look. 

"EXCUSE ME!!!" Liz yelled. 

"YOURE BEING A BITCH!!! ZOEY IS MY FUCKING GIRLFRIEND AND IF YOU DONT LIKE THAT THEN SUCKS FOR YOU!! I LOVE ZOEY MORE THAN YOU WOULD EVER KNOW! AND I DONT APPRECIATE HOW YOU TREAT HER!!" My heart was racing at how intense Luke was getting. 

"LUKE I AM YOUR MOTHER AND I WILL NOT LET YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!! ZAMORA, GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE AND LUKE YOU MARCH YOUR ASS UPSTAIRS!! YOU ARE GROUNDED FOR 2 MONTHS!!" Liz yelled. 

"No." Luke simply said. 

"What?!" Me and Liz asked at the same time. 

"No. I'm gonna stay with Zoey. And i wont be back until you are ready to sit down like the mature adult that you SHOULD be and calmly talk out our problems." Luke said grabbing my hand and walking to the door. 

"Fine if you wanna be like that then go ahead but you wont last without me." Liz replied crossing her arms over her chest. 

"Watch me." Was the last thing said before Luke and I walked out. I stopped at the end of Luke's driveway and he stopped also. When i looked at him he was crying, I quickly pulled his body to mine and he let more tears cry. I pulled out my phone and texted Shane asking him to come pick us up. He said he was at the store down the street so it only took him about 5 minutes to get us. He dropped Luke and I off at my house without questioning. 

"Thanks Shane... I'll see you tomorrow. Love you bro." I said as i climbed out of the car. 

"Anytime. Love you too, hope Luke feels better." He said giving me a sympathetic smile. I nodded and walked to the front door. 

"I'm sorry babe. I should have asked if it was ok for me to stay, I just invited myself... I can ask one of the guys to let me stay with them..." Luke said looking at the ground. 

"It's fine love! My family loves you!" I said as i unlocked the door. We walked into my house and were greated by my mum who gave me a questioning look when she noticed Luke's appearance. 'I'll explain later.' I mouthed. She nodded her head and Luke and I walked up to my room. Luke always has clothes at my house since this is practically his second home, but for now his only... "Go ahead and change into some pajamas. I'll go make some tea." I said as i slid my shoes off. Luke nodded his head and went to where he kept his clothes. I made my way down the stairs and into the kitchen where my mum was already preparing two cups of tea.

"He ok?" She asked as i sat at one of the stools. 

"No him and his mum got into a huge fight. He might need to stay with us for awhile." I told my mom. 

"That's fine. He's always welcome to stay with us." My mum said with a smile. 

"Thanks momma. Is it ok if i invite Mandi and the guys over?" I asked taking the two cups from my mum. She nodded her head and I thanked her before making my way back upstairs.

Liz's POV

I cant believe my own son chose his good for nothing girlfriend over his own loving mother. After Luke left I couldnt help but break down in tears. I walked into the dining room and realized i wasnt in the mood to clean up. I walked into my room and changed into a silk gown that Zoey suprisingly got me for my birthday. Just cause i hate her doesnt mean im not gonna except her presents. I walked into Luke's room and sat down on his bed. I miss my boy. The time without him here is going to be a living hell.
