Daniel and Kumiko

"What happened to us?"

  That was the last thing Daniel heard from Kumiko before they decided to take a break from their relationship. They didn't know that the spark they had before, was fading away like the moon at dawn.
   He wanted another chance at trying to win her back but he didn't know if the matches he had would relight the spark between them. They were everyone's favorite summer lovers. 
     They were the couple everyone wanted to be. After a. While of Daniel trying to figure himself out he decides to try and win back the girl who brought out a side that he didn't even know he had.
    When he sees her again walking around Okinawa he starts seeing glimpses of his past with her and remembering everything that they did together and remembering everything he lost. Daniel goes up to her and says "we were more than just some summer fling." 
       At first Kumiko is hesitant to continue talking to him, but then after a moment she replies "maybe if you didn't decide to let the spark die among us, maybe I'd give you another chance." Daniel looked down in realization thinking, "how can I fix us."
       As Daniel is having that moment to himself Kumiko has a moment, thinking "if he's attempting to come back, then things may work out." While they were both having their moments. Daniel decides that it's now or never, so In that moment all Kumiko could see was Daniel pulling her close to him and their lips connecting into a deep, soft kiss.
  When they pulled apart, they could feel the flicker of a spark lighting up between them. But it's up to them if they want to relight it, or let the flames go out into a dark space.
