We sat down in the basement for a few more hours. I was pretty upset about today or any other day being in here. But mainly today because today is visitation day and I was so excited to be seeing my mom and my bestfriend aaliyah. I love and miss them so much and I dont want this storm messing everything up.

Me: How long do you think this storm is going to last?

Monty: I wish I could tell you but who knows.

I sighed again.

Monty looked at me.

Monty: Why you so down today

Me: Cause today has just been a bad day I was really lookin foward to seein my mom and my bestfriend today but I probably cant even do that cause of this stupid storm.

Monty: Today is visitation day? Dang I forgot.

Me: I just want to go hoooome!

Monty: Just keep doin what you're doin and they'll let you out early, unless you know you still goin to be fightin these famales and throwing niggas trays down.

I laughed and pushed his arm playfully.

I layed my head back on my montys shoulder and closed my eyes again.

Monty: You can go to sleep if you want

I didnt say anything I just kept my head there and grinned a little. As soon I got a little sleep I heard sir davis call for me to come to him. I opened my eyes and then stood up and walked over to him. He lead me upstairs to the main floor.

Sir Davis: they must really love you.

I looked confused and kept following him. Once we got to the front room I seen my mom and Aaliyah standing there. When they seen me they had the biggest smiles on there face and then they came over to me and hugged me tightly

Mom: Omg ive missed you!!

We hugged for a while and then I hugged aaliyah.

Me: You guys really drove this far out in that storm?!

Aaliyah: It wasnt that bad where we were at but once we got here this storm worsened.

Me: Man I thought I wasnt going to see you guys?!

Mom: You know we will always make a way. And how's it been going in here?

Me: Its been hell but ive met some new friends. But therses this boy names jamal that wont leave me alone and neither will his little girlfriend jordan!

Aaliyah:Girl just hang in there. You'll be out in no time. It just sucks seeing you in here like this man..

Me:Tiffany has what's coming to her trust me. I just have to deal with it you know. Life isn't always fair.

Aaliyah looked down at the ground and shook her head. My mom then came over to us and pulled up a seat.

Mom: Well I've been talkin to the police and I have some good news.

Me: What's the good news?

Mom: Well they said they may have some cameras they may have been working but there not sure so there still workin on it

Aaliyah looked at my mom quickly. She looked stunned at first but then her face went to a smile.

Me: Are you serious? I hope to god they get those cameras to work cause I don't know how much more of this I can handle.

Mom: Has it been that bad?

Me: Yesss. There's only two people in here I mainly talk to and then you have Jamal in here who keeps harassing me with his little girlfriend on the side doing it with him.

Mom: I'm not goin to have no little raggedy boy in here messin with you Andrea.

Me: Its alright mom I got it. It just seems like its an everyday thing with those two but its temporary cause I have faith that I'll be out of here in no time.

As we were talking sir davis came out there and told us visitations were over. We looked at each other and had a sad look on our face. We stood up and I gave the both of them a hug. I waved goodbye to them and watched them leave. It hurt my heart to see them leaving out that door. I dropped a tear and then headed back downstairs. I sighed before going all the way back downstairs. This just seems like its never going to end
