Proverbs 14:6

A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none [for his ears are closed to wisdom],

But knowledge is easy for one who understands [because he is willing to learn].

A willing heart to learn of God's law of life is a winning life. One of the many laws of God that are packed with it, loads of wisdom is what this write-up uncovers: Never be the first to cast a stone at people.

God created you to be a light to many other human beings. He created us to love each other. It is even difficult to love people without faith. God wants you to be an inspiration to others rather than to condemn them.

It is wrong to see the mistakes of others and begin to condemn them even if they refuse to want to change. Most times, what you may call the wrong of others may be a wrong perception by you.

How would one have thought that Joseph was being tested and grown by God based on the various challenges that he faced? Many could have said that it was the result of the pride he has against his brothers! But it was not even so.

Don't be the first to cast a stone on anyone. When you are not the first to cast a stone, you will later realise that you should not even cast a stone.

Casting a stone means blaming people for their wrongs and providing no helping hands. It is indirectly saying that they are fit for their suffering. But you must realize that God is always eager to show mercy to anyone and so must you. Some are being tested and purified by God to be perfect and fit for glorification.

You should instead be an inspiration to other's faith in obeying God. Faith is like a light and men are like fuel or a candle that can hold the light of faith. If you have this light you will be able to light other candles rather than condemn them. A proof that you don't have this light is the reason why you condemn people. Even if what someone appears to be doing is wrong it is not in your volition to blame or become judgemental. Even if the person refuses to change, the best thing to do is to keep shining your light of faith by your character, words, and results.

Lastly, the words of Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:12-13 summarises the way to live to inspire others.

"It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light."
