"We're inevitable today"
Typical Abby.
Very typical.
"So girls, where are we going first?" I ask as the four of us along with Andrew walk out of the corridor.
"You guys are going out?" Andrew asked, stepping in front of us and looking all confused.
"Yes woohoo! Girls night" Abby said.
"Uh huh" Gabby said following Abby.
"Too bad I wanted to take you somewhere Autumn..." Andrew said. I noticed a disappointment in his voice which was interrupted by-
"Ooh where we'll come too" Gabby said.
"Alone," Andrew completed his sentence, scrunching up his nose at Gabby. To which she responded with an eye roll.
"Alright then I'll go. Be safe you guys. Call me if you need anything." Andrew said waving his hand.
"Yes Mom" Nyxine said and all of us started laughing including Andrew.
"Bye" we all waved at Andrew.
"So girls where to? " Nyxine asked.
That's when Gabby's stomach made a loud growl. We all started snickering and Gabby's face turned faint pink.
"I guess we got the answer, right Gabby? " I said, teasing her.
Off to 'The Hideout'
********
It took us about an hour to reach there. Since we had to walk half the way and take a cab for the other half.
As I walked inside the café the smell of roasted coffee beans and sweet smell of chocolates filled my senses. I took in a deep breath trying to take in the delicious aroma inside of me.
The Hideout was our common hangout spot. I loved this place. The wall behind the ordering area was a beautiful shade of black coffee. And the other walls had brick detailing in the color of mild coffee.
It looked very aesthetic. Especially with all the light decorations.
We took our usual spot. The corner spot beside the huge window. Dive by Ed Sheeran played in the café adding to its beauty.
"Hey Ren. What do you want? Me and Abby are gonna order." Nyxine asked.
"A large strawberry dark chocolate shake and cheese sandwich with fries," I said. Just the thought of food made the rats in my stomach go weeee
"Okay damn that's very specific" Nyxine said looking taken aback.
You should always know what you want.
At least when it's about food.
Nxyine and Abby went off to order. Gabby went to talk to her boyfriend. I sat there looking outside the huge window. Admiring the street that shined brightly from the sun's gaze.
As I stared at the street something caught my eye. The shop Tabernum Mysteria. It had ivy growing on its outside. But the most weird thing about it was that the ivy was still green even though it was autumn.
I felt a burn in the lower region of my neck when I saw a hooded figure in the shop.
For some reason I felt compelled to look at the person. I wanted to see his face.
He was buying something from a lady. I don't know what. He was talking to her.
When will this man leave? I thought to myself.
