"Shit!" Megumi cussed after getting thrown down by his teacher, Gojo.
You were still inside the room when Gojo and Megumi trained since you found it entertaining. Among all of the students in Tokyo Jujutsu Tech, Megumi's the most reserved, thus you wanted to see what type of relationship Megumi has with Gojo so that you could get to know him more.
"All right, I won again." Gojo announced without even breaking a sweat. "I'm surprised you want me to train you. Are you feeling anxious because of Yuuji's growth?" The white-haired man teased his student.
"Well, I shouldn't be picky. One can't solve anything without making sacrifices." Megumi fired back.
"Eh? You really despise my help that much?" Gojo tilted his head. "Megumi, I believe your strength and potential are not weaker than Yuuji. It's just that your mental aspect is holding you back. You don't know how to go all out, right Megumi?"
Gojo's last words triggered Megumi, making his student raise an eyebrow. "Huhh?! Are you saying I'm not doing my best?!"
"No, I mean you don't know how to try your best." Gojo corrected. "Y/N, what do you think?"
"I don't know. I haven't seen Megumi fight in an actual battle... But in the baseball game, I saw that he made a sacrifice bunt. Fushiguro, if I were you, I could've struck that easily and proceed to the 2nd base. Not because I have experience with the sport but as a shaman, I could."
"Wha-"
"You wanted Nobara to enter the base even though you'll get tagged out?" Gojo cuts him off. "How admirable. But if it was me or Yuuji, we will aim for a home run at any time... I'm not saying that a bunt is not good." Gojo leaned. "As baseball is a team sport, everyone has their own task. But being a sorcerer is an individual job."
"But it's important to work with other shamans, too." Megumi defended.
"You're right... But, you see, no matter how many allies you have," Gojo bent down his head, showing his bright blue eyes as he looked up to Megumi. "you will always die alone."
