We are stuck at kilometres apart
Yet we want to be close
We want to feel their warmth
Yet we only feel a chill
We wish we can hold their hand
Yet we only touch air
We hope we can be face to face again
Yet we might never be
We sometimes just want to feel their lips against ours
Yet we can't feel theirs
We murmur their name in the darkness
Yet we so badly want to scream it for them to hear
We have our minds clouded with the thoughts of them
Yet they don't know that is the case
We can't be together
And after many pleas and cries they're still not here
