Anthony POV:

I lay on my bed after a long day of rehearsals for a show called Hamilton. My phone buzzes, I pick it up and looks at it.

Daveed: yo! I'm hosting a party tonight, you should come! See ya at 7!

I groan and place my phone back down. No I'm not going. I tell myself repetitively. I look over at my digital clock I was gifted after a secret santa Lin hosted last year. 6:45pm the clock read. I roll my eyes, I guess I should go, I'm not doing anything important anyways I say to myself.

~Time skip to 7:00pm~

I enter the crowded house and my eyes immediately latch onto someone,
Jasmine Cephas Jones. I have had a crush on Jasmine since the start of rehearsals, she's beautiful. Her hair is perfect, her smile, voice, eyes, everything.

I watch as she dances with Phillipa and Renee, lost in her beauty until I feel a hand on my shoulder "Ah! Anthony you made it! I didn't think you would come!" he said as he passed me a drink, which I took still focused completely on jasmine.
