You were tired. Being an engineer for the Grand Army of the Republic was a dream job come true, but Maker, did you hate the paperwork that came with it. However, starting tomorrow you had a week of well deserved leave.
An occasion you decided to ring in by going to your favourite non-work place; a bar. Dressed out of your uniform and into something more casual, you made your way over. The room was loud, dimly lit, and crowded when you entered. Heaving a sigh, you sat down on a barstool, leaning elbows against the countertop as you ran a hand through your hair.
"This seat taken~?"
Turning your head, your gaze met the voice's origin. Thick, red, wavy locks framed a friendly face, an easy grin on pink lips, green eyes catching yours. You let your gaze trail downwards, taking note of the comfortable position her curvy body stood in, elbow leaning on the counter.
Upon shaking your head, she took a seat on the stool next to you, body turned to face you. The strange redhead waved over the server droid, ordering not one, but two drinks.
You were about to protest, the words were on the tip of your tongue, but one look of those eyes silenced you, somehow. The server droid returned a little later with two glasses with glowing blue liquid. Handing one to you, the stranger leaned towards you, that same grin on her face.
"Name's Kalypso, love. What's yours~?"
You took a sip of your drink for liquid courage, emitting a pleased hum at the taste, and told her your name. You felt comfortable, somehow, despite only knowing her name.
As time passed, the two of you fell into easy conversation. You didn't have to worry about drinks, as she made sure your glass was never empty of the mysterious glowing blue. Yet, not as mysterious as the woman before you.
She was telling so much about herself, yet you only came to find her more of an enigma. She pulled you in with her honeyed voice and sweet words. Gentle touches as the night progressed.
A hand on your forearm.
Fingers trailing up your thigh.
Warm breath against your ear as she leaned in close to whisper.Whisper words that seemed so innocent at their surface, yet her tone of voice revealed they were anything but. Your body felt warm, and you weren't sure if it was the alcohol or the company. Your skin tingled where she touched, leaving emptiness in its wake.
And when the bar eventually closed, well, what other choice did you have?
After all, she had already caught you in her tantalizing web, right there, above the spotchka glow.
