I groaned from being awakened by a blinding light. I guess I forgot to close the curtains last night. 'Great' note sarcasm anyway, since I'm up, I decided to shower and get dressed. I wonder what my mama and papa have planned for my birthday.
After my nice warm shower, I hurried up and got dressed, ready to meet my mama. If you can't tell, I'm a mama's girl, always have been, but my little sister is a daddy's girl; it's just my sister and me, Noel. I don't have any other siblings, and I love it that way no need to fight over mom's attention with another annoying sibling. Anyway, let me tell you a bit about my family. I have one sister, Noel, she's 9, and then there's my mama she's the luna of this pack everyone loves her and last, but not least there's my papa the Alpha we live in Italy I love it out here it's so peaceful.

Walking downstairs, I was greeted by a happy birthday banner; the table was decorated. I could see all of my favorite food set out on the table; they even got my favorite cake; everything was absolutely perfect; I hope nothing ruins this moment.
"Happy birthday Principessa"
"Thank you, mama."
"You're sixteen now. Do you know what this means," Papa asked excitedly
"I get to find my mate."
"Well, yes, but darling, you have to understand you're a hybrid, so the chances of you finding your mate are slim, and if you do find your mate, it won't be until decades."

"Don't be sad, piccolo, you'll find you're mate; now that you're sixteen, it means you won't age ever again."

I pulled my mama into a hug kissing her cheek before going to my papa doing the same thing. I look over at my sister, who was busy eating a breakfast burrito before dipping it in sour cream 'gross' don't get me wrong, I love sour cream, just not on breakfast burritos. I grabbed some food, placing it on my plate before sitting down; as I was about to take my first bite, When a warrior rushed in here, looking panicked.
