𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟗

The lessons didn't go as smoothly as Alexandria expected. Her classmates' gazes were fixate on her while the rumors about who had caused them had started. Bellatrix was anxious about the girl talking and revealing that the culpable was Bellatrix. This time she had exceeded the limits and she knew it. Dumbledore wouldn't be tolerant this time and would expel her from school. It would be a blow to her family name. A Black getting expelled from Hogwarts. Worse than dropping out

Bellatrix was closely keeping an eye on the girl so that she wouldn't speak. She wanted to approach her to make sure that she wouldn't talk to anybody. The right place was in the library. There were not many people in the room. Alexandria was studying in the back of the library. Bellatrix approached the girl. When she felt her presence, Alexandria went to leave.
"Don't you dare to move" Bellatrix said in a low voice so that she wouldn't catch her classmates's attention. Alexandria sat in her chair again and Bellatrix sat right next to her.
"Have you talked to anyone?" said Bellatrix dryly without looking directly at the girl. Alexandria, looking at the book and changing its pages, answered. "Do you think you would be able to talk to me now if I had spoken to someone?"

"You know what I'm capable of, Nott. Don't irritate me"

Alexandria replied sharply but in a low voice. "I am well aware of what you are capable of, Black. But do not underestimate my skills "said the girl, taking out her stick, aiming at the stomach of the dark haired girl.
"Don't be a daft. Keep your mouth shut, otherwise you won't be capable of talking" she finished her sentence and got up from her seat.

They had potion with Slughorn. It was the first lesson of the day that the girls would be in the same classroom. Alexandria had already entered the classroom while Bellatrix had been late. The only seat that wasn't occupied was next to Alexandria. Alexandria had mixed feelings about the fact that Bellatrix would sit next to her. She was still afraid of the girl. However, she loved teasing Bellatrix. She enjoyed making her anxious and irritated but she also frightened her, thinking that the girl wouldn't hesitate to attack her again.

Bellatrix headed towards to her and sat down. Alexandria moved her things away so that the girl could sit.
"I missed you" said Alexandria in a singsong way in order to make her uncomfortable.
Bellatrix looked at her in confusion.
"Excuse me?"
Before Alexandria could answer, Slughhorn entered the room.
"Good morning class, today we are going talk about Amortentia. Does anyone know what it is? The teacher asked the children. Alexandria raised her hand.

"Please, miss Nott"

"Amortentia is the most powerful love potion in the world. It is distinctive for its mother-of-pearl sheen, and steam rises from the potion in spirals. Amortentia smells different to each person, according to what attracts them".

"Nerd" murmured Bellatrix.

"Excellent. 20 points to Gryffindor. And today you will make it in pairs " he said and started giving the instructions.

"Bella, I'm sure you will smell my perfume" said Rodolphus to Bellatrix, who was sitting at the desk next to her.
"I very much doubt it, Rodolphus. It will not stink" Bellatrix answered ironically while Lucius laughed at her answer.
"You will be the perfect couple. The jock and the almost-murderer" Alexandria mocked Bellatrix.

Suddenly, one of the materials hit on the girl's face. Bellateix was grinning. She had casted a spell.
"I am speechless. You excel in causing pain. Let's see what Dumbledore would think about your accomplishments" she whispered to Bellatrix.
"I suggest we start making this god damn potion" said Bellatrix and began to read her instructions.

After an hour, they managed to make the potion.
"Let's see girls. What do you smell?" said Slughhorn as he watched their work. Alexandria was the first to smell Amortentia.
"I think it smells water from a fountain,dirt and something like roses"

"Miss Black, your turn"

"I smell blood, smoke and old books"

"Interesting girls" he said, smiling at the two girls and heading towards the other students

"The class may dismissed" announced Slughorn.
