~NEW~

The house that I had rented wasn't big but it was still a decent size with two bedrooms, living cum dining room looking out at a small patio. It even had an attic upstairs. But the reason I had selected this place was the beautiful garden surrounding the house. It gave it the idyllic setting which enthused a sense of beauty and calm to the place. It was all perfect. The neighbourhood looked peaceful and traffic free.

I walked out to the patio and was immediately greeted by an elderly lady, who happened to be my next door neighbour. I smiled at her as she waved back from across the wooden fence.

I liked it here. The tranquility was exactly what I needed to think. The writer in me was excited and enthusiastic. The deadline was close. I only had six months to come up with a story. This was the break I had been looking for. All my previous works had recieved a warm reception but I still needed that masterpiece to achieve the kind of fame I was looking for.

I inhaled the fresh air as a cool breeze caressed my face. Though I still had to unbox my things but i felt happy and energetic.

All my furniture had been delivered except the one thing I had been eagerly waiting for the painting.....that one thing that had changed the course of my life and made me who i  was. I finally owned it. Though it wasn't an easy feat to accomplish, as i had to travel all the way to Fuerteventura, Canary Islands to obtain the precious thing. But i had no regrets. I had spent almost a small fortune on it, but I think it was worth it.

I was about to go inside when, a pickup truck came to a stop in front of my house. Two men hopped out.

"Sir! We have a delivery."

Ah! So finally it had arrived.

I rushed out all excited, knowing that the long wait was finally over.

They unloaded the huge packing.

"Slowly.....don't move it much. It will tear....." I kept instructing as they unloaded the precious painting.

It would be the only thing adorning my living rooms open wall. I had already kept the wall ready where it was supposed to go up.

"House number 207." The man suddenly said and I paused.

"No no you are reading it wrong it's House 201."

The man checked the package once again and said.

"Nope it's House no.207....see it's clearly written here."

"But it must have been a mistake." I continued.

"No Sir, you are the one making a mistake."

"What's the name written on it?"

"Mr.T.T" He said reading it.

"See, that's me. Thitipoom Techaapaikhun...... T.T."

He looked at me uncertainly.
