Chapter 8: Planning An Apology

IMPORTANT, READ THE AUTHORS NOTE BEFORE THE CHAPTER! IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Again this is EXTREMELY short only because I just wanted to let you all know what the boys were thinking and planning before the next chapter where Vanessa actually opens up to the boys. It's just a short 1-2 page filler :) 

Oh, so I changed it from the boys living in separate flats to together because it makes more sense for the rest of the story, and I made some small edits in the previous chapter. Nothing too major but you might want to check it out :)

Harry’s POV

The entire ride home I couldn’t stop thinking about her. I don’t know what it was, but there was just something about her that was bothering me, in a good way. She seemed too good to be true. Never have I gotten this kind of effect from a girl.

“Harry, mate you alright?” I saw Liam ask me with a concerned look, the other boys looking at me with the same expression. I sighed and told them what I was thinking. All of them except Zayn gave me smirks.

“Awh, Haz is falling for Vanessa, this should be a fun tour. You see what happens when you learn to forgive? Now, we just need to teach this to her and we’ll all get along fine,” I heard Louis say. I glared at him. I am not falling for Vanessa, and it’s true I know when I get attracted to a girl.

“I really am not falling for her, there’s just something intriguing about her, like something mysterious about her that I can’t stop thinking about. This is just a different feeling altogether that I can’t put together. Trust me it’s killing me,” I said honestly. I can’t keep anything from them. I just got smiles from them.

“I wouldn’t think too much about it, just figure out how you & Zayn are gonna apologize to her for your outbursts, apparently she isn’t too forgiving so she needs to be shown you two are actually sorry,” Liam said seriously.

“I’m not apologizing to her, not only that but I’m not speaking one word to her at all, I did it today I can do it all year,” I heard Zayn growl. I gave him an annoyed look, why can’t he just get over everything. That article is already out, she had a valid reason to hate us, and now the only thing we want to know is why she thinks what she wrote is true. Then we can all work on improving ourselves and move on with life. We finally got home, we got out and when we got inside I heard Liam say, “Boys we need to talk, be down here in 5.” I went up to my room and quickly changed into some sweatpants and headed downstairs where the others were seated.

“Okay, so I texted Vanessa and she said she will come over tomorrow around 2:00 and we’re going to talk. I just want to make sure you all are on your best behaviors, especially you Zayn. Keep your opinions to yourself; we need to fix things with her. Tomorrow, we’re just going to talk to her about the article and none of us are going to leave without hearing her out and making sure she hears us out. We will no doubt stand up for ourselves but that’s it. Hopefully, she can write out an apology article and we can announce an apology at our first concert and at our interview that we have in a few days. Sound good?” said Liam.

“Sounds good Liam, but I did want to bring something up. Today, I heard Ashley tell Vanessa something while she was about to sign the papers. I heard her say this quoted, “You can do it babe, remember think using your brain not your heart.” I’m just really confused, what Zayn and Harry said was really offensive but the way she was talking made it sound like her heart got broken or something. One thing for sure is that she isn’t happy with this job and she only took it because she had to. Harry also saw tears in her eyes when she handed the papers to the management guy,” said Niall sadly.

“Well, we’re just going to have to get it out of her, and we can only do that by showing her that we are trustworthy guys, and not the stuck up celebrities she thinks we are. Something’s up with her, and I feel like there’s another reason she doesn’t want this job and it’s not because of the whole public humiliation thing,” said Louis looking straight at me. I just looked at him with a confused look. I don’t really get what’s going on.

“Okay guys, we will talk to her tomorrow. Now, since Zayn isn’t going to apologize I need to find a way to so I’m going to go think,” I said standing up. I walked upstairs to my room. What do I do? I don’t want her to think I’m proposing to her or anything so basically all my tactics are useless. I groaned loudly, this is so hard. I’ve never had to do this. I saw Louis walk in and sat down giving me a sad look.

“Come up with anything?” He asks. I just shake my head no.

“This is so hard man, I mean I can think of ways to apologize to a girlfriend but not someone who isn’t a girlfriend or a friend,” I said.

“Remember, she can be a friend if you let her, she’s coming over tomorrow. Befriend her, be nice to her and get her used to you. Oh, and if it helps just like your best friend (pointing at himself) is helping you out, maybe you can get her best friend to help you too. She said yes to the lunch today for her best friends’ happiness so I’m sure Ashley will help you too,” he said smiling at me and then walking out. When did Louis get so wise? I just shrugged it off. He’s got a point, let me just talk to her tomorrow and then Monday, I’ll make a visit to Marie Claire. I walked out of my room and downstairs to see what the boys were up to. 

So Harry's coming up with something I see ;) What do you think Harry's feeling? Do you think it's a crush or something else? 

Next chapter will be HUGE! It'll be up either tomorrow or day after depending on how long it takes me to write it!
