Into the story:
It was the day after rain it was cloudy, cold and breezy. Mathew had a warm duvet covering him and he slowly woke up from sleep and saw his daughter Jeni holding his hand while sleeping and his wife Shivangi waking him up and asking him to get ready...
Mathew: Where are we going rowdy?
Shivangi: To admit your daughter to school...
Mathew: Admission process is over right, then why me?
Shivangi: After dropping your daughter we are going tothe crematorium and then drop me at my clinic Matheweyy. Come on go get ashower.
When he heard the word crematorium he saw the date, it was June 1st. It reminded him many things he was sad but also happy. June 1st is a day when he lost Jeni in his life and it is also a same day where he got an angel in his life, his rowdy, his Shivangi , his wife, his love, his mother,his daughter's mother and his lifeline...
When he was thinking his little jeni stirred from sleep n called
Jeni: Hi pa, goon morning pa... with a smile
Mathew: good morning little princess, wake up baby today is your first day to school and you should not be late. Come lets go and brush our teeth or else we will not get our ice cream...
Jeni: Really!! Ice cream?? Ok but mom will not allow she will scold us L...
Mathew: I will take care of it. Where pops is there
Jeni: I will never get scare. Heyyyy!
Mathew and jeni brushed their teeth and tiptoed to the kitchen and tried to steal the ice cream only to get caught by Shivangi, she snatched the box and told "both of you go n get ready. You both can enjoy in the evening", they both started in chorus "please ma, please ma, please ma just only one, please ma, please ma" she face-palmed and gave them back both excitedly ate the ice cream and Mathew went to take a shower...
While he was standing under the shower he remembered how his life changed in the past five years...
He lost his love Jeni... he got angry he arrested the people who behaved ill with women he encountered the accused people who harassed women. Though what he did was right he was against the human rights and they had told him to undergo a psychiatric treatment to control his anger, though he hated but that helped him to lead a peaceful life today his Shivangi was the one who comforted him and brought peace in him which can never be bought...
He came out of the trance, went out and got ready. Shivangi came out went near him and tiptoed to correct his collar... "Your daughter knows how to fold a collar but you don't know Mr DCP..." she said. Yes, Mathew is DCP now.
She remembered how happy he was when he came to know that she was pregnant and at the same day he got promotion he lifted her and swirled her told' my son is a lucky charm in my life' That's when she told "It's not son it should be our daughter and name will be Jeni..." He was surprised and asked "how do you know it's a baby girl?" "Don't forget Mr.Husband that the gynac is my bestie and I am saying our daughter name is Jenifer"...His eyes teared when he came to know that he got such an angel in his life he kissed her forehead and a lone tear escaped from their eyes obviously it was a symbol of happiness...
Her trance was broken when she heard the sound of his Royal Enfield, he prefers to drive his bike when he is with his queen and princess and she locked the door and they started the ride. They reached the school dropped jeni and rode to the crematorium in the way Shivangi got down to collect a bouquet which she ordered and went to crematorium she told him to place it he held her hand in one hand placed the bouquet in other hand... they were about to leave Mathew told "let's go to church and then go", she nodded and they went and sat on bench she prayed but Mathew thought the words she told on her proposal, "I love you Mathew ,I not only love you but your thoughts , your emotions, your desires, your dreams and your love towards your Jeni... I know I cannot replace your jeni in any way, I cannot give the life which jeni could give you but I can assure you that you will never regret choosing me. I may not be your first love but I wish I should be your last love till the grave. The choice is yours"
(A song from Mass movie, thought these lines will suite this situation)
He came out of his thoughts hearing the church bell and thanked the god for making him take the right decision in the right time ... He smiled and interwined their hands and kissed them... they left the church .
He dropped her in the clinic and made his way to the station and he drove to the station he smiled and thought these lines in his mind...
