Shattered

Reminiscence

As I slowly walk upstairs to access the attic of the house I just bought. I suddenly see a box full of books, pictures, a flower pressed rose, and some cloth? Wow I never expected her to actually keep all of these here *hah* I sigh with a bit of irritation by the sight of an old photo album thinking that it might've been filled with pictures of her crush -as it'll just be painful for me to see. But nevertheless, I still opened the album out of curiosity and was surprised by the pictures of me, Lucy, Griff, Kyle, Vivian, Hyde, and Angel during our years together in highschool. As I went through each page, I found that it was adorable to see notes next to some of the pictures giving out context of what the pictures were about. I casually read some notes and two of them were: "This is my first day in my new highschool, I'm a bit scared since I'm all alone in this city right now but luckily I already got to make new friends thanks to this girl named Lucy <^^>." "Oh I was originally just gonna take this entrance photo by myself but Lucy came up to me and said why don't you join us with the entrance photos instead? You know....they say that if you take pictures together with your friends during entrance you and your friends will graduate together side by side". Well.....that one hurts a lot. I didn't even notice myself crying after reading the second note. But you know what, all of these pictures just makes me want to reminisce of the old days....The time where she was still here giving me a reason to not quit school and my life even....*sigh* oh how I wish I could just go back in time to tell her just how much I loved her. Oh well, it's too late for regrets now she's lived her life and so did I, there's nothing much I can do now except to remember the times when we were all still together before we went our separate ways. It sucks, but hey at least I still have memories of our good and fun times together. I kinda wish I'd experience the same happiness now as an adult.
