*Insert alarm*
Ugh. I hate this alarm, i hear it every morning. No matter if its the weekend or a schoolday. I dont remember what day it is, but thats normal for early in the morning. I reached my arm over and turned off my alarm. I picked up my phone and raised it above my head and unlocked my screen. Tuseday. I rolled out of bed and changed out of what i slept in. I put on some other clothes. I snuck out of my room after i was dressed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and put on some deoderant so i wouldnt smell like a rotten corpse during the day. Once i used the bathroom and gotten all my basic needs done in there, i left and got some breakfast from the fridge. We dont have many things to eat, but we had some food left from yesterday night. I began to eat. My roomate, Vexx, slumped out of their room and glared at me.
Vexx "Dude, yesterday you said i could have that-"
I sent them a smile, I had honestly forgotten about that.
Y/N "Sorry Vexx, I gotta go school and wasnt thinking."
Vexx sat on the couch and let out an overdramatic sigh.
Vexx "Lol, now get out. You got school and i gotta go to work soon."
I stuck my toung out at them and quickly finished my food and went out the door of our appartment. Im in my second year of highschool. Vexx on the other hand graduated and has a job in a maid cafe. They are only a year older older than me, but they skipped a grade a few years ago.
I could see the school in the distance, as i reached the entrance I could see my friend Marri getting out of her driver's car. Marri is wealthy, but she is kind... even if she sees herself as the center of the universe. When i got to the school i started to the roof, its where me and Marri meet every day.
I got up the stairs and to the door to the roof, i could hear sniffling from outside the door. I rolled my eyes, and walked out silently. I crossed my arms and leaned against the wall, Marri was staring through the roof gate while standing in a dramatic 'imma boutta sing' pose. She took a deep breath and-
Y/N "You start singing fight song again and your going through that gate."
Marri "Y-Y/N! I d-didn't s-s-see you there"
I laughed and so did she.
Y/N "So- lemmie guess. Was it Dezmond?"
Marri *sniffle* "Y-yeah. He broke up with me."
I sighed.
Y/N "You have had like twelve boyfriends within these past few months, and ALL of them had MAJOR red flags. At this point should it even faze you?"
Marri "rude"
I gave her a sarcastic smile.
Y/N "Im just sayin your kinda blind when it comes to those things."
Marri "I-I Just thought t-that i could change them."
Y/N "...Thats stupid."
Marri's head shot over to me.
Marri "HUH??"
Y/N "I mean that you just met them and started dating them within a week."
Marri "Well- I-I"
Y/N "Mabey we should just start heading to our classes while you clear your mind."
Marri "O-o-ok, I g-guess your r-right"
I smacked her in the back of the head.
Y/N "And dont skip speach class this time, if you keep stuttering like that I'll have to start putting you in rice"
Marri smiled and laughed as i did the same. We headed back inside the building and Marri handed me a paper. It had a list of names.
Y/N "Uh??? What???"
Marri "Im writing a story for class and i need a name for the main character."I thought for a minute while studing the paper.
Y/N "Dex"
Marri "really? Thanks!"
Marri bolted down the hallway. I turned back around and went to the roof.
Y/N "hey viewer, do you think i cant see you?"
I am standing here watching you through the screen, knowing i cant hear your answer yet.
Y/N "Why are you reading this? And stop reffering to me by your name. Call me insert."
Im smiling at you now.
Insert "Why would you wanna read from my perspective? Why would you wanna pretend to be me?"
The world around me fades to a grey.
Y/N "You thik that you can just insert yourself or a character over me, don't you,V I E W E R?! Well you're W R O N G. YOU aren't me. I am me. But as much as you MIGHT wanna be me.
The truth is,
I W A N N A B E Y O U"
