As he slurped on his long gone pink frappe, Louis watched the tall figure from a distance. He scanned the way Harry would move, how his mouth would linger just the slightest on his coffee even after swallowing. His hands would go to his eyes when he laughed, covering how his emerald orbs would cringle. That boy was perfect, but he wouldn't acknowledge the small boys existence.

Without even realizing, Louis let out an unintentional sigh earning the attention of Liam from across the table.

"If you like him so much, why not just ask him out?" Liam asked, biting into his lemon cake. Louis just shrugged, pushing aside the empty cup.

"It's not as easy as you put it. You fell in love easily, but he just wont notice me and he's starting to do it on purpose," the brunette admitted, falling out across the seat. Liam just laughed, pushing his own cup aside.

"He avoids me whenever I try to talk to him, he's just nice and cute. Why do all the good guys hate me," Lou said. The white crop top he wore started to collect at a corner, leaking more skin then he'd like. He adjusted the cheap plastic material so it sat correctly.

"Honestly, I think you're just being dramatic. He probably already has a partner, and to be fair, he's probably straight," Liam shrugged like it wasn't meant to offend the boy across the table. Louis grumbled, cutting off the muscly boys existence and went back to stalking Harry.

"Lou," Harry said, brushing a stray piece of hair behind his ear. The older boy smiled, bouncing on Harry's lap.

"You're so beautiful" he whispered, holding the boy tighter than before. He felt like home, like the place you crave to go to wherever you are, the place you're immune to. His feathery hair had outgrown, in desperate need for a haircut, but he didn't really care.

"I love you so much," is all he said before they both fell asleep.

"Louis! Stop staring you idiot, I'm going now" his friend told him, picking up his stuff. They waved goodbye, before Liam was off. Harry had also disappeared, he noticed. Him and the blonde friend of his weren't where they were last.

So, Louis paid and left. He walked down the streets of the small town, taking in what he already recognized as nothing but a distraction. The blinking lights of cars buzzed past, splashing rain water onto the footpaths.

The feminine lad pulled the hoodie over his shoulders, sinking into the newfound weight of something that wasn't his but Liam's. The light rain felt like spit from the clouds, like the lowest setting the tap can be on. The clouds told a different story, they were like blankets for the clear blue sky, clogging up the sun.
