hello. uhhh, I don't have anything formal for this story, except an explanation of its origins and how it's still developing. draft one is anything but perfect, and its still evolving, but it has come a long way from a "zero draft," and thus a 0.1 draft, 0.2, etc. enough to call it mine.
this novel is dedicated to my grandfather, the origin of this story and also the person who's colored my childhood and left me with constant, peaceful memories of Korea. it's not the same without him, and as I grow older, some memories are fading. it's whenever I return that - when my grandmother sits me down with a bowl of dumplings in front of me - that his memories are revived, and that a figure of him settles around her apartment.
aside from that, this book contains mentions of death, grief, cancer, racism.
hyeri may be prickly and cautious, but I hope you love her as much as I do. I hope you love Taeyoung as much as she does.
thanks for reading :)
