After the Void: A Sparkanite (Captainsparklez and Ianite) Fanfic

After the Void

A/n: did I really start another story before finishing my others? Yep. I had an idea and no one else was writing one so I did.
First.
CaptainSparklez POV
We fell for what felt like an eternity. The four of us had jumped into the void hoping that this would lead us back to the overworld. So far, not promising. Tucker and Sonja had their hands clasped together, and I could hear Tucker whispering "together 'till the end", while Tom was screaming and flailing, which kind of ruined the "peaceful fall" image.

All of a sudden, a purple light formed in front of me, drastically slowing my fall, and a voice said, "Well done my champion." With that, a bright light enveloped my vision, and I blacked out.

When I came to, all I could see is darkness. Am I dead? Probably not. I don't feel dead.
"When will he wake up?" A voice that I recognized as Tom asked.
"I do not know," Ianite said, "he has gone through much physical and emotional pain."
"Emotional pain?" Tom asked.
"He did watch Captain Capsize, a woman he cared very much for, die in front of him, did he not?"
Opening my eyes, I took in the scene around me. I was on a bed, red covers tucked under my chin. Ianite sat at the foot of the bed, with her back turned, talking to Tom.
Almost immediately, Tom jumped up, "Sparklydick! You're awake!" before crushing me in a hug.
Ianite smiled, but looked slightly confused, "He has a sparkly dick?"
Luckily I didn't have to answer that awkward question because Sonja and Tucker ran in, giving me a similar greeting to Tom.
"Dude! You've been out for two weeks!" Tucker exclaimed.
"Wha-" I began, only to be interrupted by Mianite.
"Heroes!" He boomed, "come outside. Because Dianite is dead, and the new Dianite has no powers, we as gods have also lost our powers. the same applies to your wizard friends." He seemed to be glaring at Ianite.
"For these reasons, we have decided that we are going to split up, and make our villages and kingdoms separately. Each of you will follow your god and survive in this new world. As you can probably tell, we are all starting from scratch. You will stay in contact with these items," Ianite said, before giving me a new pair of sunglasses, these with green frames (think Google glass style), while Tom got a watch, and Tucker and Sonja got matching headsets that fit under armor.
"Good luck heroes," Mianite said.
"And may the odds be ever in you favor." Sonja added.
