Chapter One

“Yah! Yah! Pass me the ball!”

“Hey! Are you coming to the party tonight? It’ll be a blast!”

“Tsk! Stop messing with me!”

“Shut up! You’re so noisy.”

Jeongin roamed his eyes around the room where his classmates are having their own businesses. The whole place doesn’t look like a classroom at all. Some are playing ball game. Some are chitchatting about a party and some are just messing with each other. This has always been the set-up every morning the moment he entered the room. He blows a loud breath after fixing his eyeglasses before walking towards his desk. Jeongin put his bag on the floor before sitting on his chair, then he get his book under his desk to read their lesson for today before the professor arrives. He also plugged his earphones on before listening to music while reading the book. Since his other classmates are so loud, he always read like this inside their room so he won’t hear them anymore and he can focus on the lesson he’s reading.

But not long ago after he started reading, a poke on his shoulder caught his attention. Jeongin look up from the book he was reading and he came face to face to a girl wearing a thick eyeglasses with pigtails on. She is holding a piece of paper that was folded into two. Jeongin remove his earphones before asking her so he could hear her answer.

“Yeah? Need anything?” he asked with his usual monotone voice and stoic expression which always leads his other classmates to be afraid of him causing them not to approach him at all sometimes. The girl gulped before answering him with her low voice.

“Umm… t-this… this is… f-for y-you.” She said and Jeongin could barely hear her words, good thing he have a good sense of hearing he doesn’t need to ask her to repeat her words at all. Jeongin pointed at himself with a questioning look on his face.

“Me? From whom?” he asked, his face still not showing any emotions at all. The girl looks like she’s about to cry in front of him, maybe because of his serious face, but he’s not really used in smiling in front of other people which always made them think he’s antisocial, which is kinda true.

“F-from… f-from me…” the girl gulped again before taking a deep breath. “P-please accept t-this…” then she just put the paper on his table before running out of the room like she’s shy over something, not letting him speak first. Well he have nothing to say anyways so it’s a really good decision for her to leave.

Jeongin knotted his eyebrows before picking up the paper above his desk. He opened it without even expecting of what the paper could be all about. He just wanted to feed his curiosity that’s why he’s opening it. The moment he took a glance of the inside of the paper, he read the first word written at the top part of the paper and it says…

‘Dear Jeongin,
I’ve been really liking you since the moment I saw you. I bet I’m not the only one who gave you letters like this right? But some other girls who already confessed to you are all pretty, I’ll bet my life in that. That’s why I’m always having a hard time contemplating by myself if I should confess my feelings to you or not. But then I finally had the courage to tell you what I really feel about you. Please accept my confession.’

Jeongin blows a loud breath before frantically sliding the letter inside his bag. When will they even stop sending him a letter of confession like this? It’s making him more uncomfortable. He can’t say it to their face that he can’t accept all their confession because he’s not interested at them at all. Yep! He indeed receive many letters from girls in the university but non of them really caught his attention. Not that he’s looking for someone to be with right now. His life is just too fucked up for him to be in a relationship at the moment. He still have a lot of problems inside his pocket to actually think of anything romance related.
