Karaoke Night

Hi my name is Leslie Harding and I am a Freshman at Central Chicago University with my amazing boyfriend of four years, meaning since high school, Sebastian Smythe. Before coming to Chicago we lived in Lima, Ohio I went to McKinley and was apart of the New Directions while Sebastian along with some of my closest friend went to Dalton Academy and were apart of the Warblers. After Nationals during my Sophomore year we lost because of Finn and Rachel's kiss. So in the beginning of our Junior year I auditioned for the Warblers because not only was it about the kiss but I was being harassed by the other New Directions because of my relationship with Sebastian; so he offered me an audition for the Warblers and was immediately accepted by the group and was made co-captain with Sebastian. After Graduation me, Sebastian, Nick, Jeff, Wes, Thad, David, Trent, and Jon AKA Beatbox joined us in Chicago.

After graduating college I decided to go into the police academy to become a Detective with one of the most elite units in the city, the Intelligence Unit with Sergeant Hank Voight. Sebastian worked as a Civilian worker with the CFD at Firehouse 51 under Battalion Chief Wallace Boden. The others either became firefighters around the city, patrol officers, or lawyers.

One Tuesday night we decided to find a Karaoke bar or any bar that has a karaoke night so I found the perfect one, Molly's Pub, and we all agreed so we all got ready and decided to head over there and made a promise that we would only have one drink and show Chicago what a bunch of kids from a small town in Ohio can do.

Leslie: Alright remember the promise one drink rest karaoke; understood?
Everyone: Yes ma'am.
Leslie: Alright let's go in.

We walked in and decided to take a seat at one of the tables so I went to get our drinks. I noticed some firefighters that work over at 51 with Sebastian and a few of my other friends in the Intelligence Unit but they didn't notice me nor Sebastian.

Herrmann: Hey welcome to Molly's; what can I get you?
Leslie: Can I get one cosmopolitan, three vodka lemonades, three glasses of bourbon, and two beers; please?
Herrmann: Coming right up.
Leslie: Thank you. Also do you all do karaoke night here?
Herrmann: Yes we do; what song do you want to sing?
Leslie: One sec; <She turns to where the others are> hey guys come here really quick.
Sebastian: What's up babe?
Leslie: They do have karaoke night; what do you say we do some of our old performances?
Everyone: Hell yes.
Leslie: Alright; can we do multiple performances?
Herrmann: Like?
Leslie: Like four or five group performances, a few duets and solos.
Herrmann: Uh sure?
Leslie: Awesome; is there something that we have to fill out?
Herrmann: Yeah here you go.
Leslie: Awesome thank you.

So we called ourselves Team Glee and decided which songs to do. After about 15 minutes our drinks are ready and decide to get this night started. So now it is Karaoke time!!!

Herrmann: Alright everyone we got a few people who have volunteered for karaoke night please welcome Team Glee.

So first off it is me and Sebastian to sing so we got on the stage and wanted to make a quick announcement.

Leslie: Alright thank you Herrmann so before we start singing I would like everyone to move back a bit like at the half point of the bar please thank you.

So me and Sebastian decided to do an improvised group performance of a song from mine and Sebastian's favorite movie musical, along with doing 'Uptown Girl', 'Whistle', 'Live While Were Young', 'I Want You Back', and 'Blame it on the Alcohol'.
