Chapter 15

Gigi's POV:

I come out of the bathroom after my morning shower to find my mom in the room looking through my phone,

"Mom, just cause you've the keys to my house doesn't mean you can come in like this without my permission!" I sigh, "and what are you doing with my phone?!" A look of nervousness takes over her face and she stays quiet, so I walk up to her to find her forwarding Joe's number from my phone to hers,

"WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH JOE'S NUMBER?" I frown.

"I- I thought I might give his number to his brother to talk to him, maybe Tom can fix things-"

"TOM WON'T FIX ANYTHING!! HOW MANY TIMES DID I ASK YOU NO TO GET INTO THEIR FAMILY MATTERS?!"

"Their family matters are our family matters as well! You're gonna be a part of this family sooner or later."

"NO I WON'T!! I'LL NEVER BECOME JOE'S WIFE CAUSE I' DON'T LOVE HIM YOU NEED TO ACCEPT THIS!!"

"Gigi do you ever think about anybody but yourself?!" My mom frowns.

"Fine I'm selfish!" I grab both the phones from her hands and delete Joe's number from hers, she gives me a furious stare then takes her phone and leaves without saying anything.

Now that I know my mom still has this plan to fix things between the Alwyns in mind, I need to be a step ahead of her and do something before she ruins everything for me. I've to make sure there'd be no hope for this relationship to run on. So I've to guarantee that Joe's parents won't forgive him at any cost, or maybe Joe should be the one who won't agree to go back to me again...

I jump on my bed and search for Abigail's number in my contact list. I dial her twice but she doesn't pick up, so I keep dialing her for 6 or 7 more times till she finally answers,

"Hey Gigi, sorry I was sleeping..." She answers in a quiet voice.

"Nevermind Abi. You need to do me a favour."

"What's up?"

"Call Joe and tell him I'm cheating on him."

"Excuse me what?!" She frowns.

"Just do what I told you to!" I say firmly.

"No!! I can't do that! I can't be the one to tell him such a distressing thing, he's my best friend!"

"Ugh for God's sake Abigail!" I say tiredly, "you knew about my affair the whole time and agreed to hide it from him for a couple of Gucci bags DEAR LOYAL FRIEND. What's this act for now?!" I say mockingly.

She stays silent for some time before speaking again, "but now things are different. Joe's been suffering enough for the past months and I can't make it worse for him. Why now Gigi?!"

"Abigail I'm not asking for your opinion on my decision, you will-"

"I'm sorry I won't, find someone else to do this." She ends the call.

That bitch!! It didn't take me 20 minutes to convince her to deceive her friend some months ago, and now she's trying to play the true friend role! Ugh anyway, I'll deal with her later. Now I need to find someone to forward the news of my affair to Joe...

Joe's POV:

I'm sitting on the sofa starring at the ceiling thinking about where Taylor might be right now, she has totally disappeared! I tried calling her again but every time I'd call her she'd turn her phone off, she doesn't update on any of her social media accounts anymore, and I've no clue about where her relatives or friends' are staying. At this moment in time..I'm afraid I might have lost her forever.
