Iwaizumis pov
I had a good reason. I swear I did. I know he was my best friend but..he just never sat right with me for these reasons. My girlfriend cheated on me with him. I had only been dating her for a month. She met oikawa after our first month of dating. After a few days, she talked to me less. Said she was hanging out with some 'friend' of hers. If she ever did talk to me, she always had an attitude. Or, she was just plain out dry. I asked oikawa if he could help me. He said he had no idea how he could help. They hid it from me for about 2 weeks. Until I caught them in the act of course. I hadn't been able to go to practice that day. But, little did I know, my girlfriend was at practice for oikawa.
3rd person pov
"Good job tooru!" She told him. Oikawa smiled at her "thanks, sweetheart," he leaned close to her ear "wanna have a quickie after this?" He whispered. "Ooh..I'd love to," she agreed. "Alright. Practice will be over soon. Wanna do it in the locker room?" He asked her, still whispering. "Yes I do." He looked at her. She had a gorgeous smirk on her face. "Alright then. See you after practice, doll," with that oikawa walked off and continued practice. After a while, everyone left. Oikawa walked into the locker room as iwaizumis girlfriend followed behind. Once the door shut, she was immediately against the wall.
"Let's do this, shall we?" He smirked as he asked. She nodded, blushing. "Let's," oikawa leaned in and kissed her. Soon, they were making out. Meanwhile with iwaizumi. He was at home, about to start studying. He reached for his phone, only to find out it wasn't there. "Shit," he mumbled to himself.
Iwaizumis pov
God dammit. I had left my phone in the locker room. Right where oikawa was sucking faces with my girlfriend. I wasn't that far from school so, I could easily just walk there. I put on my shoes and quickly left the house.
Once I arrived at the gym, I walked inside and headed straight for the locker room. I opened the door and stepped inside and there they were. My girlfriend, without a top, in her bra and her uniform skirt. And oikawa, just in is practice shorts. He had her laid across the bench and him on top as they were slobbering all over each other. Oikawa immediately looked up and at me. He stopped to think of a good reason to get him out of this. "Oh! Iwa-Chan! Thank goodness you're here! She- she forced me to this! She said if I didn't have sex with her she'd find a way to break our friendship!" He had exclaimed with a panicked look on his face. Me, being the gullible person in that situation, believed him. "What?!" I yelled as I looked at her. "You bitch!" She shook her head and sat up. "No! Hajime! It's not true! He asked me to do this!" Oikawa turned around glared at her. "It's my word against yours," he turned to look at me. "Besides, you've only known her, what? A month? I've known you since we were kids. Why would I lie to you?" I shook my head "you wouldn't lie. Cmon. Let's leave." I said, getting what I had came for. "What!? No- hajime- please!" I looked at her and rolled my eyes. "Save it, bitch." I said as Oikawa finished putting his clothes back on. I signaled oikawa to hurry up and I walked out. He followed suit behind me.
Later on, about 4 weeks after, I found out the truth. The team had told me when I had brought it up. Maki said he saw him whispering to her that day. Of course I told oikawa about it but, he found a way to manipulate me into still being his best friend.
Another reason is the countless he told me. He lied about being my best friend. He lied about caring for the team. All he cared about was victory. Which was the only reason he'd always aim at tsukishima. Because tsukishima was weak and oikawa could tell. Oikawa didn't care about us. But yes..those are the reasons I decided to help kill oikawa.
