Taking a huge deep breath you opened the particularly large, steel grey door.
Walking down the small flight of stairs the little flame began to grow, the walls thickening and thickening as each step grew smaller.
Wax beginning to quickly melt from the tiny candle you finally saw it. Yes, it was very creepy to stash such a beautiful piano in what seemed like a dungeon
but it was better than playing in front of what seemed like thousands. Placing the candle down you moved the chair out, sitting down you took a few breaths.
A tune coming to mind quicker than usual you put your hands on the pianos keys. Gently pressing one, then two, then three keys at a time shortly it was made into a song.
Completely being zoned out you started pushing other keys. Trying out new tunes, using the same ones. Being caught up in your songs you didn't hear the swift creak in the door from opening and closing. After a few minutes of just playing you felt a tap on your shoulder.
"Y/n?" He said gently, making sure you felt comfortable after the sudden surprise.
"JESUS christ... it's just you, erwin." You shouted, quickly lowering your voice.
"I'm sorry i scared you Solider, I overheard and couldn't help myself." He spoke, sitting down next to you.
"No, no you're fine. Just maybe try coming up with a...different approach. It's not really nice to pop up on someone when you look like a viking now is it?" You replied.
Scooting over to have more space for the two of you you noticed he looked confused. Giggling at the sight you patted his shoulder.
"Don't think to hard about it, it's a joke after all erwin." You said.
"Oh...well would you like to teach me? How to play the piano, of course."
"I mean, only if you can catch up!" You smiled leaning closer into him.
"I don't think that should be a problem." Erwin said, scooting so you two were close but not too close for comfort.
"So first, what you'd do is press this key right here.." Grabbing his hands you slowly guided him to the correct keys.
Watching him shake his head at your instructions you reached to your side, showing him the correct keys to play which ones not to.
"You're a fine teacher, L/n. I look forward to learning more of your songs in the future." yawning he smiled, "A goodnight to you as well, Solider."
"Goodnight, Commander." You responded, smiling as he got up and left.
