Conspiracy

[February 28, 1983]

Crystal was the first to wake up, she grabbed clothes, while Pietro was still asleep, before Crystal finally grabbed his arm, telling him to get up before anyone noticed that they were together last night.

Pietro sat down, still shirtless, he let out a small groan with his eyes still tightly closed.

"Put on your clothes," Crystal said, throwing Pietro's clothes on.

"Hmm," replied Pietro.

Crystal's com-link started ringing, the others were waiting for her in the dining room to have breakfast together.

"Don't forget to have breakfast okay," Crystal kissed Pietro's cheek before she went to the dining room.

Pietro who was still half asleep didn't even notice the soft kiss.

Crystal sat in her chair, eating her breakfast quietly until Maximus asked her some annoying questions.

"What about him? You like him don't you?" Maximus asked.

"Can you let me have breakfast in peace?" Crystal said.

And then Maximus was silent, only for a moment because his big mouth couldn't keep still.

"I saw him come out of your room this morning, what are you two doing?" Maximus asked again.

Crystal glared at him, she was still chewing the food in her mouth.

"Come on tell me, what are you two doing?? Having sex?" Maximus smirked.

"Maximus! Can we not talk about something like this?" Medusa replied to him.

"Oh! Medusa, look at the behavior of your sister, a member of a royal family of Inhumans and she chose to satisfy her lust for a human!" Maximus said.

"This is my life! I can do whatever I want and you don't have to care, Maximus" Crystal replied.

Then the conversation shifted to one of the guards who brought bad news about one of the Inhumans who had disappeared on a mission to Earth.

[March 1, 1983]

It started with the disappearance of an Inhumans on earth and now it got even worse with all of Maximus' wiles to overthrow Black Bolt from the position of King. And it worked, the transfer of position as King from Black Bolt to Maximus' hands was carried out, it was a short conspiracy that Maximus had actually arranged for a long time.

Attilan became a mess, and Pietro had to be in the middle of such a situation when he was taken prisoner for no apparent reason.

He had been pacing inside the prison room for quite a long time, unsure of what to do and he was pissed with Maximus and all his followers who had behaved rudely and put him in prison for no reason.

And he' was also worried that he would be left behind because Black Bolt and Medusa disappeared somewhere, and then Crystal, she didn't quote at all when Maximus took him prisoner.

He didn't understand what Crystal's plan was.

"So what now? Am I going to be here forever? Why did this bad luck happen to me?? I wouldn't go back to earth or meet my family there......oh fuck," Pietro ruffled his hair.

"Stop talking to the wall and come with me,"

"Crystal? You here!" Pietro found Crystal appearing with Lockjaw.

"I'll explain later, let's go before Maximus realizes that I freed you," Crystal said.

They went down the hall secretly, but it was in vain as Maximus' followers were on guard everywhere.

"You must go!" Said Crystal, "Lockjaw take him away!" 

"No! I can't leave you here alone!" Pietro replied.

"You have to go now or you won't be able to leave at all, Maximus won't hesitate to kill you!" Crystal said, she held Pietro's hand tightly at that moment.

"We'll meet again, I promise," Crystal said.

"But––"

"Lockjaw take him away! To earth......" Crystal ordered.

With that Lockjaw teleported bringing Pietro away from Crystal.

Shortly after he left, Maximus found out that Crystal had betrayed him and she was arrested.
