Chapter 4~ The Conversation

    Still, Renesmees P.O.V:
        "Hey daddy! Is everything okay?" He stared a me for a long second. "Renesmee, honey,  I know you're going to be mad at me, but I just couldn't help myself-" I gasped. "You read my thoughts, didn't you?! You are unbelievable! " I said angrily. "It was hard not to pick up, I'm sorry. I told your mother..-" I gasped out angrily, interrupting him. "Okay, so first you read my thoughts, then you tell mom about it?" He looked down disappointed in himself. "What exactly did you hear?" I finally asked. "I heard your thoughts about Jacob." He said through a sigh. "Oh.my.god." He shook his head, still disappointed.  "What's so wrong with it?" I said, clueless. " You love him, he loves you. Like your mother and I love each other." He still looked disappointed. "If you two are...together..the Volturi will step in and want to kill Jacob." I felt a tear stumble down my cheek. "Honey,  don't cry. We're not going to let that happen. If you two do get...together..we will have to keep it 'on the down low'." I hugged him. "I'm sorry daddy." He kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry too, angel."

     Mom was waiting at the cottage for me and dad to get home so mom and dad could give me 'the talk'. This was going to be awkward.

          Edwards P.O.V:
  Bella wants to give Renesmee and Jacob the talk. "I thought you and Jacob were supposed to be like brother and sister?" Bella said, worried for our daughter." Mom, relax. Jacob won't hurt me." Ness said, sure of herself. "Jacob, I'm glad you came to talk to us." He nodded in my direction,  then turned to face Bella. "What are we chatting about?" He said in a friendly tone. "You and Renesmee,  seem like more then just friends to us," Bella said, starting the conversation.  He nodded. "I'll admit, I think I love her." Jake said. I clenched my fists and tightened my jaw. "Dad, stop. " Renesmee ordered me. " If the Volturi know you're together, then they will step in and try to kill you." Renesmee started crying and Jacob snuggled her, which made me clench my fists tighter. I was losing my little girl. I continued. "We're not going to let the Volturi hurt Jacob, but if you want this to work, you must keep in down low." I repeated. "We promise. " Renesmee said answering for herself and Jacob.
