(Y/N)s' POV

I sigh while Aether and Paimon were digging in the food they ordered.. Especially Paimon.
'That's enough to feed a family of 3' I thought and sweated a bit just thinking about it, I rest my chin on my hand and looked to the side.

"(Y/N), is something wrong?" A familiar voice called out. I turned my head to the voice and there I see those pair of yellow cat shaped eyes staring at me, I cringed a bit 'Ever since Xiao finished his plate, his eyes don't seem as lively as they used to, I wonder if something happened to him' I frown and close my eyes.

"Are you gonna keep making weird faces or you're gonna answer my question." Xiao said again while frowning a bit as well.

I open my eyes and look at the annoyed Adeptus "Ah.. Right, I'm sorry but to answer your question I was just thinking about some stuff, there isn't anything wrong.." I replied and looked back at the two travelers, it seemed like Aether was full but Paimon was still gobbling down their food still.

I stand up from my seat "Since I've finished my plate I'll go walk around Liyue for a bit, it's been a while since I first stepped in this wonderful place." Aether just nodded.
"MhmM--kay" Paimon managed to say while eating their last plate.

I looked at Xiao and see him standing up from his seat "I'm coming as well." He said with his arms crossed.
I blinked a few times "... You..?" I managed to say as I pointed at him then at myself "With me..?"

"Is there something wrong with that?" Xiaos eyes squinted, staring at me "N.. No but we just met, I would have never thought Adeptus Xiao would trust me that quickly." I said and doing a smug face ".. I don't trust you one bit, but I might as well be a guide to an old soul." Xiao replied.

""Old soul"? How disrespectful to one of the first Adepti to ever step foot on Liyue." I said sarcastically faking my tears.

"Hmph for one of the first Adepti, you don't seem mature half of the time."

Sighing I walked over to Xiao and stared at him before patting his shoulder then walked pasted him saying nothing.

3rd Person POV

Xiao was a bit startled from the random touch but looked back at (Y/N) making his eyebrows frown a bit before catching up to them.

"Uhm should we follow those two as well? Paimon's not sure about leaving them both together.. " Paimon said while sweating a bit "No, I think they'll be fine for a while." Aether said and made a smug look as he was watching the two Adepti walking away from his sight.

"You sure do know your way around Liyue, you don't seem to be the kind of person to be walking around this place, knowing how many people walk through these tracks every day." (Y/N) chuckled walking behind the Vigilant Yaksha.

"You're right, I'm not the kind of person to do that, that's because I usually spend my leftover time sitting on a building and looking out for the mortals here at night." Xiao replied still walking straight forward.
"Ah.. I see. Adeptus Xiao, do you mind if I ask a question?" (Y/N) asked before stopping in their tracks and stared at the lonesome Yaksha.
Xiao noticed their movements and looked back at the (H//C) haired Adeptus he thought for a moment ".. Go ahead." Xiao finally spoke.

"Do you have any friends?"

Xiao only blinked a few times before saying "I used to, but as if now I have a few acquaintances I.. Like to enjoy my time with." After Xiao responded to (Y/N)s' question he started to walk again

(Y/N)s' POV

'..So he doesn't really have any friends.. Poor guy.'

Xiao showed me some places and quickly I got bored.
I sighed and looked around my surroundings until my eyes landed on what was in front of me "...." I didn't say anything and just stared at Xiaos back.
'I didn't notice how toned his back is, I should probably ask what his back workout routine is when we're done for the day'
I inhaled and looked away from the sight.
