"There is always a solution. You only need to be brave enough," Caleb held my eyes attempting to force the information to my core.
I broke the -what seems to be turning into a stare down- and asked. "So you are saying I should participate on the Cash Races?"
Caleb seemed to want to say 'duh' to my face but he rather just nodded as if he thought this was no time for sarcasm.
"Fine, but I can't drive to save my life or as I have proved today, to save anyone's life. Is there even any chance of me succeeded in the world of race at all," I inquired thinking of all the races I had been to before. My question was almost rhetorical.
For a girl who grew up in a town that breathed racing I should have had a clue but no, my chances were thin as cake dough.
So why were Caleb's brown eyes filled with hope in the form of fire, making his brown eyes turn light making them seem golden.
Why were his lips twitching with a smirk? Why did he seem to want to spill decidedly great news when I had just convinced myself minutes ago that my world was falling around me?
