NEXT DAY

Whitney is in library. She's selecting books to read when Perry bumps into her from behind.

"Hey!" Whitney exclaims, she was expecting something like this to happen because Perry spends most of her time here. Specially when her best friend is with the gang.

"Hmm... What are YOU doing here??" Perry asks surprisingly, keeping her voice low. It's a genuine surprise.

"Can't you see, I'm studying" Whitney replies tilting her head up in pride to the fact that she's doing something productive for once. Her smirk and raised eyebrows shows obvious signs of confidence.

"Study and you? Perry states as if these two words can't possibly be used in one sentence."Right right".Perry continues Study on how to trap rich guys and how to attract assh*les". Perry says reading her through.
Perry since the beginning of their friendship kept trying to keep her away from bad influences and materialistic things but she failed. She cares for her and wants her to stay out of these stupid things and study for real and fulfil her mom's dream. Sadly, over the years she saw her becoming complete opposite of it and also have to hide her college life from her mom as well.

"Shhh... What's wrong with you?" Whitney says in a serious tone. She seems hurt as she wasnt expecting her to say something like that.

"I saw you there"

"where?"

"you guys were making joke of that guy"

"are you talking about that guy."

"yes"

"Ohh your Prince charming" Whitney tries to joke again to check what Perry have to say.

"I'm not kidding wits"

"OK sorry who?"

"Kim Taehyung"

"Ohh that one that Kim... Something" Whitney wasn't expecting his name.

"You shouldn't welcome someone like that... you guys were laughing behind him"

"So what? isn't it normal? Lucas bullying poor guys" She shrugs.

"It's not cool Whitney, why are you with them, at all?"

"Wait a min...  you arguing with me for that glasses?" She says while laughing shockingly.

"Whitneyyy" she demands.

"okay okay whatever his name is, I.don't.care and yes it's just casual ragging. It's a part of college life." she explains, there's still no guilt in her voice.

"Yes and you are the gangsta" She says shaking her head.

"What's your problem?"

"My problem is Lucas, he is not good for you, you are turning into them day by day. You were not like this"

"I'm Wits not some poor little girl, can you see this" she points his hands towards her body, "I made this, I made my figure like this not for being a good girl who obey orders. okay? I wanna live my life however I like to and yes if you think I'm studying on how to attract guys then yes it's true, I'm doing this because I know I'm worth it. Do you know why Lucas roams around me instead of other girls? Because of this "she again points at her figure.

"Exactly, you are right... and that IS actually what you are worth. You are a show piece. You turned yourself into a toy so that you can attract guys and let them play with you but remember, soon they'll throw you away and find a new one 'cause trends keeps changing, Whitney." Perry completes her words and leaves. It hurts her to say such words but she tries her best to make her understand her actual worth.
