(A/N- reminder of what the Ravens are wearing^ & I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN TO PLAY THE SONG^)
Y/N POV I was walking toward the door of Nat's room after my team when I caught a glimpse of myself in the full length mirror on the front of her wardrobe. I couldn't help but stop and look at my reflection with wide eyes.
"Admiring the view?" Nat asked as she hung a few dresses back up in her wardrobe.
"I... is that really me?" I said stunned as I ran my eyes and hands over my body.
Nat came and stood just behind me and I met her eyes in the mirror, "All you girl. Something wrong?"
"No, no nothing's wrong." I said quickly, "I just. I've not really seen myself in a while. Especially not dressed up like this." I said gesturing to my attire. "I look so grown up." I said wistfully. I hadn't really looked in a mirror for more than a few seconds since I was 14 and now here I was, in my mid-20s and I didn't even recognise myself.
Nat put her hands on my shoulders and I lifted my left hand to rest on top of hers. She smiled warmly at me, "You look stunning y/n. You've grown into a beautiful young woman"
"Thank you Nat. For everything" I said softly.
"You're welcome. *she rested her chin on our hands on my shoulder* I think you're worth the chance to be more than what Hydra made you."
"I'm trying." I said honestly.
"I know you are. *Nat smiled* I've seen it everyday I've known you."
I smiled back.
"You ready to go back to the club?" Nat asked me, an edge of concern to her voice.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I said and we left her bedroom to join the team.
BUCKY POV "I feel bald" I complained.
"You aren't bald Barnes." Wanda said rolling her eyes.
"You look like you did in the 40s Buck." Steve said almost wistfully.
We hadn't spoken since our disagreement on the balcony but hearing him say I looked like the old me was comforting. I wasn't the same person I was in the 40s anymore, not fully anyway, but it was nice to feel less like the Winter Soldier.
I looked in the mirror Wanda handed to me and couldn't quite believe it was me. It was a strange feeling and Steve was right, I looked lot more like I did in the 40s.
Tony had had Pepper get a suit in my size from his talor and I couldn't deny that I liked the look of myself, even if it was a lot to get used to at once.
