"So...Care to explain what's going on between you and Lucas Prince?" Mia asked, her voice surprisingly calm.
I was standing in front of my locker, collecting my materials for the next class.
"Mia, hear me out. Its...." I trailed off.
I can't say i'm in a fake relationship to get my diary back. I haven't told her about my diary and what it contains. Should I tell her?
"Its what?" Mia raised an eyebrow.
"...uh..its compl-" I started but was cut off when I was engulfed in a back hug.
"Sup cupcake. Lets go to class? Oh its your friend. Mia, right?" Lucas asked Mia.
"Yeah..." Mia gave a suspicious look towards Lucas.
"Let me steal cupcake for a moment?" Lucas asked, his voice cheery.
"Uhh.Yeah No. Tell me exactly what's going on. When the hell did you two start going out? Why didn't you tell me Nora?" Mia began.
"Yeah, why didn't you tell her cupcake?" Lucas pointed out.
I gave a death glare to him to which he winked.
"Why didn't you tell me you're dating? When did all this start?" Mia's pinched her eyebrows in frustration.
"Look, the thing is-" I was cut off by Lucas.
"We didn't want it to be a public relationship because she wasn't ready. But then we discussed it later and decided to make it public. Right, cupcake?" Lucas explained.
What is he doing?
He nudged me when I didn't reply.
"Uh...Yeah. Totally" I chuckled nervously.
Oh that Lucas. We're gonna have a talk later.
"...You could've told me though. I wouldn't have told anybody.... I guess its fine, as long as you treat Nora like a queen. Or im gonna beat your ass up. And don't even think of breaking her heart. You got that?" Mia cracked her knuckles.
"Got it ma'am" Lucas saluted mockingly.
Mia turned to me and sighed. She opened her arms for a hug. I hugged her tightly.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier" I sighed.
"Its fine. It was your decision. I hope you'll be happy" Mia let go and smiled at me.
I don't deserve her.
"And you...take care of her" Mia advised to Lucas and walked away.
"You sure got cool friends, cupcake" Lucas affirmed.
"What was that?" I put my hands on my hips, fully facing him.
"What was what?" Lucas grinned.
"You know exactly what" I narrowed my eyes.
I searched my bag for any candy. I found a lollipop and started sucking on it.
Stress-eating
"Why did you lie about our relationship? She's gonna find out about it sooner or later..... She's my best friend, what's gonna happen when she finds out that we're not actually in a relationship? That I lied?" I huffed.
"Its fine cupcake. Nothing bad is gonna happen" Lucas assured.
"How do you know?" I pouted.
"I just know" Lucas stated before placing a soft kiss on my cheek, yet again, making my jaw hang.
Lucas took the opportunity to take the lollipop from my mouth and put it in his.
He left the hall with a wink at me, leaving me puzzled by his actions.
