A/N : okay so maybe I lied when I said I was giving you all a few more tame chapters.

Here we go.

EDEN'S POV -

It's been just about one week in California. One week of writing and messing around... okay, mostly messing around. We managed to finalize a demo for Two Ghosts and a really pretty song Harry and Mitch wrote, Sweet creature, I got to add a couple lyrics on it as well.

It really has just been a great time. Everyone's energy is high, mostly adrenaline. I never thought that I'd enjoy the process of writing and working on music as much as I have been. Mitch showed me how to use Logic, so I've been learning more on the production side of things with experimentation. He said a good practice would be recording that piano bit I have, so we did.

Just as promised, he topped the piano with a very jazzy and soft guitar. Just for fun, Sarah added a simple beat over the track. The last minute, I decided to split the song off and play around with the pedals on the piano, playing with the damper on a separate piece. It's very pretty...

I met several other guys on Harry's production team. I met another guy named Adam, quite the multitalent if you ask me, a writer named Jackson, and a producer named Morgan, who I actually had met one night on tour. Morgan has also been staying with us in the shared house as well as his fiance Jane. They all seemed super polite just in meeting, and in the time I've been here, Morgan and Jane have been so kind.

I learned that Jackson has been planning to propose to his boyfriend of four years, Sam, and that Adam is supposedly a massive Adele fan...

I mean who in their right mind isn't? Have you heard her voice?

May have cried at the story.

We decided the first night we got here that we would establish some traditions. Every Friday night, we watch a movie together as a group. Last week, we watched Cable Guy and Mitch hasn't stopped making references since. Each night, we trade off who makes dinner... which, to be fair, we all usually chip in and offer to help eachother out. One day a week, we order out from somewhere, or go out.

I somehow got the boys to agree to do a self care day with me sometime in the near future. Sarah agreed to help me set it all up. Oh, and I've absolutely loved spending time with her. I couldn't even tell you how, we just have clicked so well. She even facetimed Meg with me and as I had assumed, they hit it off well. Harry and Mitch also said their hellos each, Meg acting smug and unknowing when I reiterated what Harry told me on the plane. He just sat with a smirk on his face, shrugging when Meg confessed to knowing about the flowers.

She did promise, though, that she didn't know what flowers he was getting. She just knew I would be getting flowers.

Harry suggested yesterday that we go out for dinner tonight to celebrate my addition to the team, have everyone there. I told him that we didn't have to, but he insisted, and insisted more.

Sarah came to my room to get ready together, as Harry had told us the reservation was for 5:45 and that the restaurant is fairly upscale, for lack of better words. I'd only been to places similar a few times with the tour team when I was still touring with Adele... and they were all after a show, so I was usually dressed by a stylist with much better style than mine. You could say I feel a bit unprepared, but luck for me, Jane brought some nicer clothing than what I packed.

She was also so incredibly kind when Sarah and I picked out dresses, complimenting how each would look on either of us. I tried to push away the mental kicks over how Aaron would react, and just picked what I felt comfortable and cute in.
