This story got the Top 21 spot out of 210 entries at The Novel Project's Writing Contest.
This is my entry for the writing contest of The Novel Project with the theme "Iba't-Ibang Mukha ng Pagpapaubaya," which has been included in their Top 50 winners. With the critiques I received from the judges, I learned a lot and gave me the chance to improve my work.
The revised version of "If I Ever Become An Option" was entirely different from the original version. You can read the original version on thenovelprojectph Wattpad account, it was posted on "TNP's 1st One-Shot Story Writing Contest Pt. 2" with the entry number 210.
May this story give you a hope that although letting go is a painful thing, you can see a beauty in that. You can see happiness in letting go. And, may you never choose to be just an “option,” because you deserve to be someone else’s only choice.
